As op shop coordinator at AAPS I have the best job in the world - not only do I get to spend my day in our awesome op shops, everyday everything I do is to make a difference for animals…. I work with the most incredible team of volunteers in our shops to provide ongoing funding to our shelter and we never ever forget why we do what we do.
I am joining the team at AAPS on Saturday October 19th, leaving our warm comfy beds at home to sleepover at the shelter - all to raise essential funds for our shelter and ultimately for the animals in our care.

Sunny is getting ready for her sleepover at the shelter and wants to thank everyone who has sponsored her so far ❤️❤️❤️
2 years ago Sunny was first brought to our shelter in a van from a rural location securing her safety & her future…. Now she wants to make sure we have the ability to rescue more animals like her and transport them from wherever they are to the safety of our shelter.

All our op shops are closed on Monday June 10th for the Kings birthday public holiday, reopening for normal hours Tuesday June 11th.

We are SO excited for our upcoming paint job and mini makeover (don’t worry we will never lose our unique op shop charm & character!).
We will be closing the shop from Tuesday 21st May until Wednesday 29th May to get the work done.
In order to make the move a little easier we’re taking 50% off everything in the shop up until EOD Saturday 18th May…..that’s half price on everything in the shop!
We will be pausing donations from Tuesday May 14th to give our volunteers the chance to catchup just until we reopen so please bear with us and we will be super excited to see you (& your dovations) once we’re back open.
