A big thanks to all involved in the organising and running of the Sheep WA Sheep Expo Working Dog Auction.
We were super happy with our kelpies on the day, and to top it off Mountal Caz was topped priced dog 👌
The day would not have been the success it was without Rifka Mclure who started and handled our three young dogs for the auction. Thankyou Rifka!! 😃

Garry showing some nice style and balancing up brilliantly, always puts himself in the right spot. Rifka does an awesome job with our dogs, we cannot recommend her enough!!
Garry has come home now, and we’ve left Rifka with the next candidate Mountal Thorpe ☺️

Thanks to the ladies at Kojonup vet clinic for treating our tough little Tammy this week.
Our working kelpies have a physically demanding job and Mountal Tammy developed a heamatoma near her hip after a hard day at the office. She’s recovering nicely and doesn’t even seem to mind the indignity of wearing the bucket 😂

A good team of working dogs are invaluable when educating cattle. Weaned calves settle quicker, they stop searching for mum and get on with fending for themselves. This adds to positive weight gains & calm cattle that are easy to handle.

This is Mountal Raffa ( Mountal Miracle x Pilbara Spencer)
He joined the Mitchell family at Cowaramup as an 8 week old puppy.
Look at him now😁 just gone 5 mths old a nice 18kg, what a stunner. And who could miss those ears 🤣 all the better to hear you with!
We’ve been told he loves riding in the buggy, and is busy putting his natural herding instinct into action on the Guinea fowl and ducks.
