As the warmer wether has begun to hit us, how to do you keep your ponies entertained and cool ?
I have found that my horses love frozen carrots. It’s simple and easy(as long as you remember to put them in the freezer the night before). They love to play with them and it takes them that bit longer to eat.
Its shedding season !!
As our ponies are losing their winter coat and everything we oen is now covered in hair I have had a few clients ask about what is classified as excessive hair. If you cant tell what colour the item is due to the hair it will be classied as excessive, I would never expect there to to be no hair.
Below is a quick snippet of my mare today after spending 15 minutes brushing the same spot.
The start of a new week ......
Dont be afraid of what can go wrong because you never know what can go right.
I was lucky enough over the weekend to spend some time in Rawson experiencing some of the amazing trails. It was a perfect change from our normal work outs and very good for our fitness. What have you been up to over the holidays with your equine friends ?
Sunday fun day 🥰
Thank you Kat and Norm for letting me tag along to the water walker today. Ty was an absolute star and is now absolutely exhausted.
