🎃 HOWL-A-WEEN TRIVIA NIGHT 🎃

It’s that time of the year again! Time to get your ghoul on for our annual Halloween trivia night to raise funds to allow us to continue saving animals!

$20 per head, 8 to a table. Don't have the full 7 mates? No worries, we'll fit you onto a mix-match table!

We have some amazing prizes donated by local business (if your a business and want to contribute please email us!)

There will be auctions, raffles, door prizes, best dressed (dont forget your costumes!!👻

100% of proceeds directly support the lifesaving work we do for our Kimberley wildlife and strays - let's give them the life they deserve!

Please support rescues during kitten season! As cat populations boom, our capacity to fly down animals diminishes as all other rescues fill up too.This is the time of year we are put between a rock and a hard place (ie... euthanasia skyrockets). Desexing is VITAL. Next free stray desexing -> this Saturday 9:30am

UPDATE: the pregnant cat has been located! To facilitate her desexing we are having a spey day this Saturday and other cats are more than welcome to join us - call 9169 1229 or 0483 313 599 if you anticipate catching a cat!

The litter against all odds 🐾

Lexi, Biscuit, and Lily are three of five miracle bottle babies, found on the side of the road with eyes not even open yet.

Through some sources, we discovered they are have Shar Pei and German Shepherd in their blood - wow what a combo!

Unfortunately this breed combo created complications, and the litter was incredibly vulnerable to aspiration pneumonia because of the shape of their airway. 2 of the puppies didn't make it, but we are so thankful to their foster carers for giving them the best go. Fly high Otter and [dog] ♡ Biscuit also struggled greatly and we also came close to saying goodbye, but he's pushing through for now and giving life his best shot.

The two girls, Lexi and Lily are doing super well, and have even received their first vaccinations now! Time has flown by so quickly and as much as none of us are ready, it's time for forever homes for these babies 🐕

These guys are going to be medium-sized dogs. They are at the perfect rehoming age currently and will he adaptable for any type of forever home that comes their way - cats, dogs, kids, chickens, or otherwise!

They have been exceptional in care, and their good manners are astounding us all. They're already acing cage-training and have no problems chilling by themselves while you're at work!

These sweethearts are Jack Russell x Chihuahua x Mixed breed, and while dad is unknown, they’re expected to stay smallish in size.

THE GREAT UN-NUTTENING OF KUNUNURRA

No Nut November is coming up! We have our gear ready ✂️. It's our first NNN since offering free cat desexing and we are super excited to see how many we can get through. To add some incentive this year, we have a host of prizes!

The grand prizes will award:
- best street (boys)
- best street (girls)
- best individual effort
- heaviest balls

You have 2 months of notice... plenty of time to gain their trust.

Don't believe in desexing street cats? Capture them for the council instead! They hire out cat traps for a returnable deposit.

Our busy bee day this year is the weekend of 8/9th November - walk ins gladly accepted! For other dates call us on 0483 313 599 to see if our surgeon is available. Alternatively, book directly with Kimberley Vet Centre who have surgery days on Tues/Wed/Thurs.

Sooo... somehow all the interest we had for Ember fell through without so much as a meet and greet! Applications are now open again 🏃‍♀️

Ummmm, anybody want a kelpie puppy?!?

This beautiful girl was rescued from the Shire and is now looking for a foster home! She's gorgeous and affectionate, playful but also settles really quickly. She's bomb proof and would do fantastic with children.

We haven't named her yet, any suggestions? She's 5 months old and mostly kelpie.

Amber Alert 🔶️

Meet the gorgeous Amber. Amber is a kelpie x staffy with the sweetest personality. She's around 2 years old.

She can be shy to start with but warms up quickly, especially in the present of another dog. Love going for an adventure as much as chilling on the couch? Well Amber is the girl for you!

Help Piglet find her forever home 💓

Piggie has been in care with Kane since a young pup... she's a gorgeous girl and we can't believe she hasn't found her people yet!

Piggie is almost 6 months old and will be on the smaller size of medium when fully grown.

We suspect she's a Kelpie x

Piggie is a lively, playful girl who’s happiest when she has space to run and explore. She loves trips to the park where she can stretch her legs and enjoys zooming around the backyard. When she’s not outdoors burning off energy, you’ll usually find her curled up fast asleep.

Piggie has great manners at mealtimes, she’ll sit and wait patiently for her dinner and she really enjoys the company of other dogs. She’s still learning to walk nicely on a lead, so she’ll need someone patient to keep working on that with her. One little quirk to know is Piggie can’t resist a shoe chew, so it’s best to keep your footwear tucked away!

With her energy, affection, and big personality, Piggie will make a fun and loyal companion to the right home. 💛
