Sounds like this fire is in the spectacles which means snake my try to run from the area!

I will be available after 5pm as always but in the mean time if you see one please keep a sharp eye on it and check out my page for other handlers in the area.

If you do see one it might be scared and defensive so keep a safe distance but keep an eye on!

POSTANS, CITY OF KWINANA
near THOMAS RD and MCLAUGHLAN RD, in POSTANS

1. 3rd alarm. Burning near the research centre and a hopover in the recylcing plant.
2. 300 x 500 m. Fire is heading easterly with moderate activity. Winds are light, gusting southerly winds. An Advice has been requested.
3. There may be road closures in place, avoid the area.
4. Air support required.
5. Multiple ignition points.
6. Air support on scene.
7. The largest fire is 2.9 ha, the smaller fire is 0.5 ha.
8. Fire is approximately 12 ha, fuel load 10 t/ha. 2 hours to control. Air operations has slowed the rate of spread of the fire. Fire is contained within the surrounding roads, " Anketell Road to the north, McLaughlan Road to the east, Thomas Road to the south and Abercrombie Road to the west."

PSA for the residents of Parmelia in the vicinity of Parkway Gardens.

Just returned from a call for a possible Dugite at a property on Parkway Gardens.

Unfortunately I was unable to locate it and it may have moved on.

Please keep an eye out and if you see it please keep your eyes on it and call me straight away.

If you see a snake it is vital that you:
1: If some one has been bitten call 000 immediately!
2: Keep your eyes on the snake from a safe distance
3: Call a handler straight away - don't wait!
4: Make sure everyone and your pets are safe.

The longer it takes a handler to get there the more chance of the snake not being able to be located.

PSA for the residents of Medina.

Specificly residents in the vicinity of Hewison Reserve.

I have just attended a call for a possible Dugite at a property across the road from the park.

After almost an hour of searching I was unable to locate it. It is possible it has moved on but please keep your eyes open.

It was last seen approximately 2 hours ago.

Please be vigilant and if you do see a snake keep a close eye on it from a safe distance and call me straight away!

So I've just had my first false alarm.

Please don't EVER think you are wasting my time!

I would 100% rather you called me if you aren't sure than the alternative

Is this case it was a gorgeous little Burton's Legless Lizard (Lialis burtonis Gray) 3 of them in fact and yes they can give you a bit of a fright if you don't know what they are.

I educated the customer on them and told them to just leave them be as they will help with the little bugs :)

But as I said if you're not sure call me - it's not a waste of my time at all 😀

So now I have a said one :(

I've just rescued this stunning dugite but it's injured 😢

There is a mark on its belly that makes me think it may of been hit by a car.

I'm taking it to an epilad vet and hopefully she can save it.

It's not looking good though.

Got a call this morning for this gorgeous little tiger!

Unfortunately I was unavailable so I made a quick phone call to Lani from Medusa Reptile Relocation and she was able to get there to do a quick capture and relocate.

Rest assured that when you call me you will only ever have to make one phone call!

I have and extensive list of contacts and if I'm not available I will make all the phone calls needed to make sure your danger noodle is safely relocated. I will never just you leave you to sort it out yourself.

I understand how stressful it can be to have an unwanted guest in your home and I will help you anyway I can.
