Throwing out a quick plug for Dora's new business venture, she'll be offering in-home care and plenty more around the area! Injections can be daunting at home, why not let a lovely, professional, vet nurse take care of it for you?

I am pleased to announce the start of the Vet Nurse Dora’s home visit service.

The mobile vet nurse visits your pet in the comfort of your own house anytime its needed.
How can I help?
• Nail clip and a**l gland check/ expression and ears clean package
• Dental check/ clean with the manual scaler, polish if comfortable for a pet along with the hair trim around the muzzle package
• Comprehensive health check (heart, temperature, dental, ears, dietary/weight advice)
• Behaviour advice
• Medication administration, parasite prevention, vet prescribed medications, injections complimentary with chosen services
• Hygiene trim, wings trim
• Palliative care, subcutaneous fluids administration, physiotherapy exercises
• Transport between the regular vet and the emergency
• Daily visits, daily pet minding
• Bandage, wound care
Bookings are taken now for the second half of June,

This week has been super busy with 11 dogs on the property, I think they're all worn out 🤣 Bella, Ripley and Bobby have gone home and miss Lulu has arrived. We're down to 7 and although we drowned with rain last night, today is beautiful and sunny. Here's a picture of our resident turtles for your pleasure (they actually had a baby behind them too but it got startled). 🥰

Billy, Finn and Moko are back for another quick holiday, frequent flyers that are just at home on the farm now!

Along with them, is Bruno and Coco, I can say confidently that it's super hard to get a good photo of these 2! 😅 For a pair of puppies, they're superbly behaved, watching TV or following me around the house is their favorite activity. When playing though, they're a pair of pocket rockets that dart around in a blur 🤣 the happiest of doggos. 🏡

We're fully booked for the Easter holidays at the moment, excited for some fun filled weekends with the pack! 🥰

So, I thought I would introduce my fur kids a bit more. You're familiar with my Maremmas, the lovely Togo and Ivy. I'd like to introduce my kitties, next!

From the top is Banjo, or Wanjo for God knows what reason 😅 he has been mine and I his for 12 years, he was my first cat out of childhood and is my absolute dude. You'll see him featured in most dog pack walks of the property, as he gets offended if he's not invited. He grew up living in a pet resort and acreage with me for over 5 years, so is quite tolerant of doggos as long as they don't enter his space uninvited 😅🥹

To the right is Athena, or 'thenaaa- she was a stray kitten handed in to the vet, around 4 months old. Funnily enough, black cats definitely don't get adopted out as much as other colors, but her personality shone through and I just had to have her. She is friendly, independent, carefree and easy going, she gets along with anyone and isn't phased by much at all. She loves farm life and can often be found asleep in trees around the property.

Bottom right is Joe, or Joeyyyyy- another stray handed into the vet with severe tick paralysis. He was undesexed, around 12 months old and pretty feral, so we got him better and castrated him, and with a bit of TLC, found he was actually a joker of a cat with a huge heart. He lived at the vet for a while because no one wanted a teenage boy with no manners, and for some reason every cat hated him! He was often found snuggling up to surgery patients while they got their teeth done, but you could sense he wanted a home to belong to. So, he joined the family.

Last but not least, Smoosh, or Smooshaaa. She is our elderly lady and you guessed it, was a stray handed in to the vet! She is roughly 16 years old, I have a hunch she was dumped due to her age but I'm not sure of her story- all I know is her sass is wild and she's as charming as a button. She doesn't venture outside but has about 50 different places in the house that she rotates between, the couch, with a fluffy blanket on top, next to dad- is her favorite. Maybe a little tiny bit of steak to go with it. ❤️ Thanks!

They are all so different from each other, with their little games and their favorite things. I wouldn't have it any other way! 🥰

Giant Mojo the Maine c**n x came to stay with us for a couple of days, he definitely has a solid connection with his wild ancestry, but is the biggest smoocher also. He came to work for a dental procedure before going home, the poor guy lost a tooth but probably feels much better. ❤️ I reckon he enjoyed his view, too. See ya next time, bud!

Lulu has gone home after a good 3 week holiday with us, Mr Bruce only has a day left 😔 and we had a quick 2 day visit from Finn and Moko 🥰 I'm lucky enough to see them everyday at work though 😜 everyone is going home in time for this forecasted rain coming, we're preparing the farm for the worst. Better to be safe than sorry! 🤠

Bruce and Lulu are staying on the farm this week! 🤠🥰
Bruce's mum was a bit worried because he has been showing signs of dog aggression, I could see instantly that he's just a little fearful of other dogs disrespecting his space. A bit of on-lead redirection and he was having a great time! Hopefully we can build some confidence over the next week of farm time adventure! 🐕🐶

🎊 Happy New Year 🎊

Last year we took a break from minding our furry friends, it was a year of change and challenge, of highs and lows. This year, we're back in full swing and can't wait to see some furry faces on the farm!

For those who haven't met us, my name is Lilley and I've had over 10 years experience in the animal industry, I'm currently studying my vet nursing and have been working as one for almost 2 years. My partner Jeremiah is a chef by trade (the dogs will confirm this!) and has the biggest heart, there hasn't been an animal I've met that doesn't adore him instantly - I feel it says a lot about him. 🥰

This year we'll be offering more services on top of our pet minding, but for now we look forward to growing with you all.
It's our absolute passion and dream to offer a free ranging, pet sitting experience where your pooch is a part of our family for the duration of their stay. They have full access to our farm, including the dams, the rivers, the forestry trails, and we occasionally go for a road trip to the river or beach. 🐶

We have limited places at a time, so get in touch and book your fur kids in for the adventure of a lifetime this year! 🐱

April and Barney are back for a short stay, such a beautiful sibling pair, I really love watching their dynamic. Getting all tucked in after a big farm day, they must get exactly 100 kisses each before bedtime 😘 see you in the morning!

Hello! 👋
We have been a bit quiet as we journey through farm renovations, Ivy's health recovery and busy busy life. We are almost finished our new big dog yard and our little doggy haven, ready for Easter. This year is passing by so quickly already! We have had a couple of little munchkins in the interim, beautiful Daisy dog, Toto and Gretel. 🥰 We are looking forward to this year and hopefully growing our little business just a little bit more, we aim for home like stays with the least amount of stress and the most amount of fun. Can't wait to see you! L & J and the farm. 🤠

Kelly came to stay with us this week, a beautiful border collie whose mum has been a bit sick. You could definitely feel her sadness and confusion but she still had a great stay on the farm. Scruffy has now made herself at home with us, an Irish wolfhound x jack Russell, she is full of beans and personality. I also added a fun farm snap of my chickens, ducks, and kitten Athena 🥰 Hoping everyone has a lovely weekend!
