🗣In The riders own words💋
🏆Best achievement:
I am so extremely proud of Rhox and I, and our support group for helping us, work through her problems and not giving up on her or sending her away. We are slowly developing a happy and safe dressage horse
❣️Favourite thing to do
I love having my morning coffee with Rhox, and spending time with her, whether I’m just cleaning her paddock, doing our ground work or riding, she is so much fun to be around, and is such a challenging but extremely rewarding mare!
🥅Goals:
Short term
◦ Compete by the end of the year
Long term
◦ Train my own horse to compete at each level with the highest quality of riding and preparation of each movement
◦ When Vanessa Way comes back to Australia, take Rhox to our clinics
😃 Yout happiest horse moment
There is no moment in particular, every time I am around my horses, I am at my happiest, because I am so proud and grateful of the unique bond I have with each of my horses, and the trust and respect we have for each other.
😂Your horses most quirky moment
Rhox is a full time quirky horse.
◦ Plays chasey in the paddock with me
◦ Licks me
◦ Chews my hair
◦ Bites and cracks plastic syringes every-time I give her, her Betavet supplements
◦ Always checks pockets for carrots
◦ Cons Deb with her cute eyes for more lucern hay every time Deb walks past
🎬Favourite horse movie:
Ahaha can I say training videos 😂 I love watching Vansssa’s training series, as well as Kyra Kirkland. And any little clip of training.
🦄Famous Dressage Role model :
Vanessa Way - I love her clear pathway for training, her 1 million and 1 exercises, her kiwi accent, her attention to detail, and always striving for that perfect Charlotte ride
💚Fav colour equestrian combination outfit:
I’m a Victorian….. navy blue and silver/grey/white
💜Favourite equestrian gear :
Deniro boots 😍
🐴Short history about your horse
Rhox has had an inconsistent start due to no fault of her own, and me living 2 hours from her., for most of her life
But she is now 5 minutes from home so I am able to spend much more time on a daily basis with her . We recently, through more consistent work, have found some major gaps in her breaking in process, so we have gone right back to basics (including ground work, teaching control stops ect) and now we are on our way to developing a lovely safe and happy dressage horse
🌟Other sponsors :
I currently don’t have any other sponsors, but I have a massive support team behind Rhox and I, as well as Rozzie and my riding career, that I treasure and value their knowledge and support that align with the values of Lauriston Park and Christine Sievers!
