We have been busy at today’s Inglis Digital Auction.
We are thrilled to add 3 more horses to the team who will arrive in Darwin in the coming weeks to race over the wet season.

On The Charge is a lightly raced front running type with plenty of upside who should take to Darwin Racing perfectly. With a record of 3 starts for 2 2nds and a win at his latest start.

Miss Moov has been very unlucky to stay in maiden company to date with a 2nd on the synthetic at her only start on the surface and good form on firm tracks she should be able to get out of maiden grade shortly after arriving in the NT.

Blown Away has very good form lines in Victoria and had a very credible run at Sandown mid week only a couple starts ago, he has lost form on soft tracks at his last couple starts. He is an off season and carnival prospect who will appreciate a change of scenery.

Congratulations to patient connections of Yaki Ishi, he had 6 minor placings before notching up his first win for the stable today at Fannie Bay. Hopefully this is the confidence boost this fella needs to go on with it. Beautiful ride also from Stan Tsaikos.

Our Darwin Satellite stable is a go! Our team of 8 horses have settled into their new permanent stabling on course in Darwin. We have always spoken about making the move to the NT and we are thrilled to start that journey with a small team which we will look to grow as we settle into Darwin. It will be business as usual in Victoria with Neil & assistant trainer James will run the Darwin operation. Good luck to connections of our 5 runners in Fannie Bay tomorrow, we hope to kick off with a bang.

Darwin Cup day 2024.

Will we see Bear Story or Hettinger repeat the feats of Hawks Bay x2 or Royal Reuqest (pictured) and win a 4th Darwin Cup for the stable.

Latest Bentley has a big task ahead of him today in the Rod Dyer Memorial race today at Darwin. It would be very fitting to win this race with Latest Bentley as he has been such a warrior and honest horse for our stable.

Good luck to all other connections on the day with Hettinger looking to win back to back features in the Metric Mile.

Our 2 Darwin Cup aspirants Hettinger & Bear Story enjoying a lovely morning’s recovery post gallop at the picturesque Mindil Beach. Bear Story lines up this Saturday in the Chief Ministers Cup & Hettinger is set to tackle the Bridge Toyota Cup next Wednesday.

All 20 horses have settled into their boxes in Darwin. The trip has started well hopefully it ends well.

Darwin Cup Carnival 2024 is a go! We are back to our pre COVID numbers this year, 24 horses heading up to the Carnival! Good luck to connections and a safe trip to all.

Hettinger wins the Feature St Pats Cup in Alice! On track for the Alice Cup in 3 weeks time.

Alice Springs 2024

The Alice Springs Cup carnival team is on wheels, they will arrive in The Alice on Tuesday. Wishing a safe and successful trip to all horses & good luck to connections.

Missed Victory

Missed Victory arrives on course ahead of the Woodend Cup. Will be interesting to see how he measures up against some quality horses after 2 wins on the trot. Good luck to all.

Hettinger

Hettinger returned to the trials this morning at Tatura, we were very pleased with how he has come back, a bigger & stronger version of himself. He is right on track for his Alice Springs Cup campaign after stamping himself as a NT cups horse last preparation with 4 wins on the dirt by a combined 19 lengths.

Mohican Heights

Mohican Heights enjoying a day out in the Spring Sunshine here at Marymount post track work this morning, we find this is a great way of keeping the mind fresh and the horse happy during a prep. He will take place in our local Kyneton Cup next Wednesday.

Hallowed Ground

Hallowed Ground, just 4 weeks ago we had Shares available in Hallowed Ground for just $350 per 10%! After an impressive jump out this morning with group 3 winner Mr Maestro coming in 2nd, a change of scenery and life style with us at Marymount Stables he seems to have found his mojo…although he is no longer available we have 50% remaining in Wok Star!! HETTINGER dominates his opposition in the Katherine Cup this afternoon! His 12th run this prep & 4th win, congratulations to his connections. Look out next year! Well done to Aaron Sweeney on another terrific ride.

The night before the Darwin Cup…all happy horses enjoying they’re dinner ready to launch into Grand Final Day. 8 of the team go around tomorrow & all should have a forward showing. Goodluck to all our connections & supporters hopefully we can bring home a 4th Darwin Cup.

Pot Black makes it 2 in a row in Darwin

After winning the feature event last Wednesday, Pot Black backed up on Cup Day yesterday to take out the Open 1600m Handicap in fine style from consistent stablemate Gracious Prospect. After settling midfield the pocket rocket came with a well timed run to grab his stablemate over the final 100m to bring up his 9th win for connections. A great effort by the stable pair and a win is just around the corner for Gracious Prospect. Congratulations to all owners and the team.
