We only have 2-60-80 places and 3 75-95 places left for Day 1 and 2-60-80 places on Day 2 for the Winter Clinic. If you want to ride both days, there is still a chance for the 60-80. If you cannot find your height, enter and get on the waitlist. We have some big fires and great food planned for the Winter Clinic with Matt Ryan - Bonza Eventing and Charlie Brister. We also have our new brush jump complex installed.

Christmas Ride at Fernances Creek with Charlie Brister

All ready for Ladies Day September 23-Dressage, SJ & XC

Just set up our new dressage arena and got the show jumos ready for the weekend. The trees are starting to turn so soon we will have autumn gold. I will be sending the draw out on Thursday fir the Easter Ride with Jonathan Angeli.

Lima’s first cross country outing and she went well.

Today was Haflinger Family Day at the Farm- Part 1. This is our 5yo mare with her baby Sienna and then Baby Daddy Artus came out to play. Our mare had not been ridden in over. year and Cos just hopped on her and then the fun begam. This is another horse started by Cos, how lucky are we with her kind nature! Sienna was so much fun to watch and Artus is getting ready for some comps this year.

A little muggy, a bit of a breeze and beating the heat in the shade. We reached 28 degrees and shortened the day a little. Now the cloud has come over with a breeze and a prmise of a thunderstorm. Thank you to the riders that came and took up our offers for a swim, a hose down for your horse and a cool lunch in the clubhouse.

About Fernances Creek Riding Club

Starting on July 1st, the Back Forty Cottage and Ride & Stay will be open for our first guests. This is a luxury cottage that can sleep up to 6 people. The Ride & Stay package will allow Equestrian Australia insured riders to book accommodation and have access to our cross country and showjumping courses. We also offer the Clubhouse and Luxury tents that can sleep up to 6 people for the Ride & Stay option. This means that groups can book the accommodation, facility and yards for the duration of their stay.

This is our 6th year at Fernances Creek Riding Club for running equestrian events and clinics. We are an EA Affiliated Club with a full cross country course with over 80 jumps. We offer encourager to pre-novice levels for cross country and showjumping. It is a great atmosphere with lots of jumps and room to gallop. We also have a full working equitation course. We offer facility hire to instructors and groups which includes a beautifully appointed clubhouse with all the comforts of home plus access to all of our other facilities.

When we are not running events, we are looking after the farm, breeding haflinger horses and standing our stallions at service and running our B&B service. Our main focus with the horses is to produce a haflinger sporting horse. We ensure their training includes dressage, jumping and some other activity such as working equitation or trail riding.
