The Hobbit Farm's soul purpose is to help horses and people connect better in a calm and peaceful environment. My name is Natasha, I have been riding for 25 years and training horses for over 11 years. I have worked with many different horses and ponies over the years, some that can't be ridden, some that can't be touched and many that had trust issues. I took my time with a lot of them and found

Socks is the most beautiful soul, very gentle boy that needs some TLC. He is rising 10yo. Socks unfortunately has a parrot mouth and will require hard feeding to maintain weight or hay. This boy needs a home that'll understand his needs to keep him healthy. He is great with other horses, good to wash, float, trim, groom, lead etc Extremely quiet lad that kids could handle.

Romeo is 👀 for a new 🏡

Romeo was purchased from the 2024 Warwick sales. He’s estimated to be 15-17 years old, Welsh x riding pony gelding and had spent at least the last 8 years completely untouched in a paddock in Northern NSW, never being fed or handled in that time. He was extremely defensive and shut down at the time we purchased him however in the last two months Romeo has come leaps and absolute bounds. He’s been wormed, had his feet done, and lost all of his matted hair. He becomes braver with the more handling he has and now winnies at breakfast and dinner. He’s not on any hard feed and is maintaining himself easily. I’d love to find him somewhere to see out his days where he’ll be treated kindly.

Romeo is fine to paddock with other horses, calves and is respectful of fences. As I haven’t had an expectations for Romeo, I’ve not been rushing handling him and he still needs a lot of work as he is finicky brushing under his belly, unsure being caught by strangers (won over by strangers with food) and still unsure when picking up his back feet. He has been transported twice in a double with the help of a bum rope.

If you have a horse or pony you can no longer care for, I would love to offer a knowledgeable, caring home. I’m seeking a few horses or ponies to help keep the grass under control on my 12-acre property. I welcome any breed, height, or condition, as long as the horse is lightly handled enough to float.

What I'm offering:

• 🌱 12 acres of lush, varied grass to sustain most horses year-round
• 🧑‍⚕️ Daily care, including grooming, rugging, and training
• 🍽️ Feeding twice a day, with tailored nutrition as needed

🍭I'm looking for a soft handed rider to get some fun out of him. They'd be allowed to take him off property for outings such as pony club (I can transport him), trail rides and beach etc. He is double registered (Part Arabian and Palomino), so showing could be an option as well 🙂 He is a Crabbret Arabian 🩵

🦄Kazy is a sweet boy that is only green broken but very sensible and not stupid by any means. He has been out on a trail and his only problem was he forgot he owned legs at one point while hyperfocused on some cattle (only tripped once and hasn't ever done it since) 😅 I have also taken him out to a light horse training day without any problems. He is 8 years old and was only broken in at the beginning of this year. He's the kind of trooper to take everything in his stride and give everything a go.

🥳At the property there is a round yard, plenty of flat area to ride, jumps and things to make obstacles. All his feed will be covered by me. He is fed twice a day and rugged.

This kills me to do this, as this is my heart horse that I didn't want anyone else to ride. This fella is just so incredibly special. But unfortunately I'm possibly going to be out of action for a bit and I don't want his training to fly out the window. He absolutely loves doing a job and I want to keep him going. 🩵🦄🩵

After soooo much consideration and due to NO FAULT of her own, Bubbles is 👀 for a new 🏡.

I had kept Bubbles around for a future children's pony but unfortunately it doesn't look like I'll be able to have any of my own. So I've made the hard decision to let her go to a new home hopefully where she can be a children's dream pony. She is so sweet.

🥳💥🎉Benson became a gelding today. He was such a champ for the vets, took a while for him to wake up but once he did he recovered well. I can't thank the vets today enough 🩵

Kazaam also had his teeth floated for the first time and he took a good while to come back from the sedation. The vets referred to him as a "light weight" 😅😅

Both boys are happy and Benson is in the round yard for the night to monitor his incisions.🩵🥳🩵

Slippery is a sweet but sensitive lad. He's been handled by 1 women his whole life and is new to expiercing the world. He is a horse that needs a job and will thrive with one on one attention. He is very in tune with his surroundings and takes in new information like a sponge. He is only lightly handled but regularly handled and coming in leaps and bounds. I strongly believe Slippery will excel in endurance or something that requires stamina. He has a heart of gold and just needs to find his human to connect on that next level with.

💥Price drop $500 🐴Advertising on behalf of the owner. Please message the page to get in touch with the owner. Looking for a genuine home for an unraced (but trained to race) 5 year old Tb. We were sold this horse as suitable for beginners, and unfortunately he is not. He will need someone who is well versed in the breed, and knows how to be a leader for him. We have found he can be quite domineering in his paddock and will kick out or turn his bum. We do not have the experience to retrain him and teach him how to be a good horse, but we do love him so want to see him go to someone who does. We have spent money on him with ulcer treatments, feed, hay and agistment, plus of course the purchase of him, but we just want him to go to a genuine home. Please don’t enquire if you are just looking for a horse to flip. He deserves more than this. He is approx 16.2 hh and is 5 years old. His racing name was Bucket buy. He is $1000 but negotiable for the right home.

Today, for the occasion of my beloved daughter Missy Rose's 4th birthday (may she rest in peace), I decided to take a leisurely walk to my local, accompanied by Frodo (formerly known as Little Man). He has come leaps and bounds! Such a chill dude.

Farewell from The Hobbit Farm the big barrel Dutch 😘🎩❤ Unfortunately while he was here I was unable to get a lot of footage but I was able to capture this. Dutch had come a long way from not wanting to lead on his own and walk out alone. He had really started to soften in the mouth and coming forward off of pressure. I'm very pleased with how Dutch took everything in his stride. Some days he said nope but he always tried in the end. What a truly beautiful lad to work with. ❤🎩 May all your owners dreams come true for you ❤💜❤
