Bidgees Run Border Collies

Bidgees Run Border Collies Just to let people know what is happening in the land of Bidgees Run.... Gone but never forgotten.

The Inspiration:

Bidgees Run Border Collies has been a long held dream for many years and the inspiration behind the whole breeding dream lies at the paws of a little Border Collie called "Bidgee". Bidgee came from the esteemed breeder Thea Parr of Arajoel Border Collies (located in Hay NSW) and it was love at first sight. We only had Bidgee for a very short six years but what an impression she l

eft on everyone she met. Her name came from the Murrumbidgee River which flows through many states in Australia and at the time connected our home with Arajoel in Hay NSW. Bidgee taught us so many things not least of which is the brains, beauty and heart of the Border Collie. Bidgee was a very special dog in our lives and it is in her memory that we derived the name Bidgees Run, it honours a magnificent breed in the Border Collie and our little fighter Bidgee.

2023 glad it is over.
This year we choose not to have any litters due to the market being flooded with pups.
We lost Kita and Logan.
Kita is the mother of our first Bitch Rose and Logan is the boy that started use on this journey.
Austin did us proud in the flyball ring. With his team winning the first State of Origin comp.
Austin's daughter Erin did an amazing job running with her father in the flyball ring and did an even better job in the agility ring winning the companion dog club highest agility award. A credit to Erin's owner Vanessa.
Ember obtained her flyball title and now has retired from breeding due to complications. We were lucky enough to have kept her daughter Toffee from her first litter and her son Hudson from her last litter.
We have a sweet little girl Nyx who is Austin and Roses granddaughter. Thank you Fiona Scherl for letting us keep Emily intire so we could use her and to Rebecca Jones for letting us use her amazing dog Zac. So we could keep our lines going with Nyx. (We still have a male from Emily / Zac litter 12 months old if you would like an older dog)
We still have Gucci. We'll what can I say about our princess.
To end the year off our house was flooded so we are busy cleaning.
Look forward to 2024.
