Weekend availability a must*

Are you interested in working with Dogs and Cats?

Sandek Boarding Kennels is seeking a reliable and knowledgable casual kennel attendant to join our close knit team.

On the job training will be provided however, previous experience in the animal field will be required.

The right person will have the following qualities and experience:
- Must be driven and have a strong work ethic.
- Must be attentive and have a great attention to detail.
- Must work well in a team environment as we are a small family run business.
- Must be able to follow routines, policies and procedures.
- Must be comfortable with dealing with clients at check in and check out.
- Previous experience working with animals, preferably dogs is essential.
The role of a casual kennel attendant will be the on going care of boarding dogs and cats.
The right candidate must be flexible with availability across weekdays and weekends including but not limited to all public holidays, holiday periods, Christmas and New Year.
A kennel attendant tasks will include but not limited to:
- Cleaning of kennels and insuring high level of hygiene is maintained at all times.
- Provision of food and water for the dogs and cats.
- Provision of medication and strict diets.
- Washing and grooming dogs for departure.
- Checking in and checking out of boarding dogs and cats.

Due to the ever rising cost of living, dog food, electricity etc we are increasing our prices as of 1st February 2023.

We want to make sure we can still provide top notch care for all of your beloved animals.

Prices are per day;

Cats - $23 per day

Small dog - $24
(Chihuahua, pug, cavalier etc)

Medium dog - $26
(Kelpie, border collie etc)

Large dog - $29
(Labradors, husky etc)

Giant - $32
(Wolfhound, mastiffs etc)

What a year 2022 was, we got to look after so many amazing pets, long standing clients and lots of new ones as well. We’d like that thank everyone who entrusted us to look after their fur babies 💗

2023 is already looking amazing, we are fully booked for the most part of Jan. Please make sure to call asap with your bookings to avoid disappointment! We would love to take everyone but unfortunately we can’t 😢

24th of Dec - 9am to 12 noon & 3pm to 5pm
25th of Dec - CLOSED
26th of Dec - CLOSED
27th of Dec - CLOSED
28th of Dec - CLOSED
29th of Dec - 10am to 12 Noon
30th of Dec - 10am to 12 Noon
31st of Dec - 10am to 12 Noon
1st of Jan - CLOSED

• We are currently fully booked for dogs from the 23rd of December until the 16th of January. Please contact us if you would like to be added to the waiting list or to book in for 2023 holidays 🥰
