Moulamein Grain Co-operative LTD (MGC) was formed in August 2001 by a group of local farmers whom created a successful business around the storage and handling of grain. MGC today is the largest independent storage and handling business in the east coast of Australia, consisting of more than 180 farmer shareholders that manager/share hold another 7 grain storage and handling businesses with an annual average production of 500,000mT.

The smart business sense of the MGC have seen them involved in successful business ventures such as being shareholders in a container packing export facility which exports grain to most South East Asian Countries and are also involved in the development of two oaten food products for the human consumption market.
