Our aim is to educate owners and their dogs so as to ensure a friendly, sociable and well-mannered family pet, which is welcome in the community. Dogs are taught correct behaviours and boundaries, so that they learn how to read social cues from other dogs and to respond in an appropriate way, and owners are educated on how to best handle their dogs in all situations.

This sweet girl is looking for a forever home.

Mindy is a 5yo desexed F Bull Arab/Bull Terrier mix who had been at GAWS for over 6 months before being adopted by current owner.

Although she was adopted with all the best intentions of providing her with a forever home, personal circumstances have unfortunately changed dramatically, with no way of keeping dear Mindy.

Information garnered from GAWS and current owner tells me that she has a sweet temperament. She's quiet, gentle and a bit of a couch potato.

Mindy walks well on the lead.

She needs a home with NO cats.

****Seeking a temporary home for a 2yo American Staffy, with possibility of forever home with you if all goes well.***

Minner needs a loving place to stay for around 12 weeks, while her sister recovers from major surgery.

Minner belongs to my good friend and has a friendly, puppy-like nature, and loves to snuggle.

Crate trained, but hasn't, as yet, spent the night in one, as she prefers to sleep with her people. (Different rules may apply in your home!)

She is non aggressive and may live fine with another dog, but no cats.

Up to date with vaccinations, fleaing, worming etc.

Food will be provided.

Minner will only go to an approved home, as she is a much loved pet. She's just too excitable around her sister, who will need strict rest post surgery.

Please let me know if you might be interested and are able to care for this lovely girl for a few months 💙

These 2 cuties 🩷💙

Gorgeous little Helga the Corgi puppy was exhausted after doggy class this morning 💕

Her "brother," Chester the Whippet, has been known to be a bit reactive towards other dogs whilst out on a walk.

I did a one-on-one session with Chester and his lovely owners, where we took him out walking, and my Kelpie, Ruby, helped out as well.

The session went very well and Chester's owners now have the tools they need to work through the issue :-)

I've been working with these gorgeous 9wo Kelpie puppies, teaching them the basics.

They've been learning that jumping up is undesirable, and that sitting is what gets the positive attention.

Yesterday they had the leash attached for the first time, and started learning "heel" and "drop."

Such clever kids ❤️

I had an in home session this morning, with this adorable 8wo Beaglier named Dobby.

Dobby learned to sit and drop, with the beginning of recall also.

His parents learned all about the natural pack mentality of a dog and how to be the consistent and effective pack leaders Dobby needs, in order to feel secure in his role within the hierarchy.

We discussed:

Food and nutrition
Toys and mental stimulation
Crate training
Toilet training
Nipping
How and when to give affection, and how to address undesirable behaviours.

Dobby will be joining one of my group training courses, once he's had all his vaccinations 💙💙

Aren't they cute?

I'm working with these gorgeous 8wo Kelpie puppies for basic training, which includes introducing them to various experiences and stimuli.

This will help produce well rounded and confident young dogs.

George the Cavoodle puppy

This absolutely adorable little fellow is George - a 10 week old Cavoodle puppy. One of the smartest pups I've ever worked with, I was able to teach him - in a very short time - to: sit, lie down, crawl, roll over, spin, and leave (food.) His new owner learned how best to guide this highly intelligent puppy with consistency, leadership and boundaries. And lots of love of course!
