As we near the end of 2024, a new adventure just started for us. A new property and new arrival of Merino lambs. Oh, we are definitely not leaving Lara.

We always look for ways to improve efficiency and reduce printing and paper consumption.

Our boarding cattery has trialled electronic labels. They have worked exceptionally well over last Christmas/New Year holiday when we are at capacity. Change rooms are so much easier. Do it in the management software, and relevant screens are updated soon afterwards.

Out with the old and in with the new. The original septic system was installed in the early 80s when the home was built.

The day has finally arrived, and all hands on deck first thing this morning. The underwater treadmill, used for the dog rehabilitation, safely relocated to its new room.

We are excited about the arrival of our new portable building. It is custom-built by in Pakenham, Victoria. It is constructed using energy saving materials and features. Cool in summer and warm in winter. We will consolidate all dog rehabilitation services in one building. Dogs and their owners and staff will soon enjoy the upgraded facilities.

Rosewood square is also coming along, now that all the rough in work is completed for the therapy centre I am able to finish the waiting area. Today Noel and I laid and compacted the gravel next there will be compacted sand and fake grass with potted plants around the edges. And the gazebo will go over the pattern paving.
