Prue's Equine Premium Rugless Tailbags provide the ultimate in a waterproof and protective design with safety being absolutely paramount.

These tailbags DO NOT tie to the tail, but are attached through the plait with a double velcro closure, reducing the risk of hair snags. The lightweight 210D Honeycomb Ripstop Material is waterproof and does not become waterlogged, therefore protecting tails from rain, mud, p*e, poo, wind and sun while still allowing the horse to use their tail to swat flies away. Fast and simple to use, they do away with frustrating knots. Designed to use mid dock to reduce hair breakage from mechanical leverage with traditional below dock applications, and when applied correctly without over tension on the horizontal velcro - a shiny, voluminous, tail can be achieved and maintained.

By now, most of my trim clients have met Luke - my chief of pat’s and distributor of treats and scratches.

Around 14 months ago Luke had very limited exposure to horses, let alone the contrast and variety of clients I trim. Since then, Luke regularly joins me on trim runs, sharing the driving on long hauls and helping where he can. He has adopted my ethos “they take the time they take” and listens not only to what I’ve taught him along the way, but also the lesson every horse has given him.

We recently got a SOS from a friend and dropped everything to help - the details of how and why don’t matter, as always the horses welfare comes first.

Dear Ralphy who displays a strong opposition reflex and is reactive to external pressure in most forms had a bit of a whoopsy and needed some help. The day prior Ralpy and Luke bonded, so it was Luke to the rescue.

Quietly, patiently and without time limits or any agenda Luke worked with Ralph to achieve a peaceful outcome and earning some trust in humans.

They say you can tell alot about someone by how they treat animals, and this is no exception. I’m prouder than words of Luke and how attentive he is when learning and listening to these horses. He is kind beyond any measure and listens to the unspoken.

I’m so proud of Luke’s developing horsemanship and am truly appreciative for every horse that has been instrumental in teaching him as we go.

I’m so privileged to share this journey of continued learning with him.

We have received notification that the NEW HONEYCOMB Ripstop has been forwarded to the freight handler! 🤩🤩🤩

We have compared the samples and named them to their closest or similar comparison in the previous Diamond Ripstop it now replaces.

With 13 colours coming, a hot pink we’ve called CANDY and a mystery colour called CLOUD we can’t wait for it to arrive in approx 2 weeks!! 💗💗💗

Some of you may recall in May I lost my very beloved Blue Heeler ‘Delo’ while most of you never met her because she wasn’t very social, she was a very large part of my world and a huge part of me broke when she passed away peacefully in her sleep.

Welcome our new family member ‘Ruger’ 💙who arrived from Queensland on Friday. He’s slowly acclimatising to the Tasmanian weather (his own collar check rug definitely helps)

‘Ruger’ had his first day on the tools yesterday, and headed out with me alone today and we had a great day. We look forward to all the future holds and the adventures to be had 🫶🏼

As a hoofcare provider, clients often call as a first point for horses that suddenly develop a progressive lameness, followed by heat and swelling!

Dear Barney here couldn’t walk this morning, and wouldn’t weight bare on one leg! Bless hoof testers and helping to pin point this little gremlin!
