What a good start to my day a beautiful bottle of an award winning red Pinot Noir thankyou julie so much so appreciated by the owner of cabbage Tree Hill then lunch made by Michelle and Oscar so spoilt so bloody nice and boy it helped get me through the day (saving the wine for my birthday in September if it lasts that long.
Then I won my water bill being paid by LAFM couldn't believe I won anything $107 paid on a roll so come on pies end my day on a high

There was a homeless man who 'camped' in the covered garage where my office was located. You'd see him huddle down for the night, along with his little dog, a small scruffy little terrier mix. When I walked thru the garage on my way to lunch, I would often check to see where he was and then bring him a burger and drink. He always tore the sandwich in half, ate one half and gave the other to his dog. I started bringing him a bag of dry dog food every month and he took great pains to keep it dry. His little dog rode in the child's seat in the grocery cart wherever he went.
One especially cold winter morning, I noticed his dog was missing and he seemed utterly forlorn. I bought him some coffee and he explained how the city rounded up the homeless and took them to the shelter because it was bitterly cold and they took his dog away from him. They took her to the local shelter (no license, no tags, no rabies vaccination). I was appalled.
I took the morning off, picked him up from the garage & drove him to the shelter where we asked to look for his 'lost' dog. When we found her, she put up such a racket of pure joy upon seeing him: yipping, yelping, wiggling uncontrollably. Paws squeezed between chain link trying to touch her master and his fingers stroking her little face.
I paid for her license, basic shots and retrieval fee and he rode back in silence hugging her so tight, I thought he would break her. When we got out, I told him to keep her safe. He hugged me, made Sasha give me a smooch of thanks, and hurried off to where he'd hidden his cart.
I understand the need to keep these souls safe but taking his one undeniable friend -- while legally founded -- was gut wrenchingly wrong on so many other levels.
Any act of kindness can change lives….no matter how great or small.

Animals will no longer be forced to stay separate to their owners, with the Spirit of Tasmania set to change their policies when the new ships launch in 2025.

The two new ships will each have 18 cabins dedicated to accommodating furry friends and their owners, with a designated outdoor area available for dogs to stretch their legs and enjoy some fresh sea air on a lead.

In addition to the cabins, the ferries will also have a secure climate-controlled pet housing area with kennels for dogs of all breeds and sizes.

Love getting babies in to start their grooming experience. The sooner the better
These boys ages 11 to 15 weeks

Baby Alphie after 3 minutes settled well with the drying experience, had his feet trimmed, nails done well done.
Hugo in for his first time good Baby and Monty who is staying for a few weeks all did an amazing job. Each wash and dry gets easier and less scarey for babies
I like to get them back each week to two weeks and by the magic 4th to 5th time it's a dream time for them and me. Loved my snuggles and kisses boys

Busy busy days had a new puppy Fifi a 12 month old poodle today she tried so hard to enjoy her groom good girl and sadly groomed a cob dog Freddie who is now moving to Qland in 3 weeks time I hope you enjoy the new life with your family x

When long time clients contracted covid a couple of months ago and couldn't make their appointment they desperately wanted to pay for their dogs grooms.
NO WAY if your sick as and can't drive so be it. Today they still insisted and arrived to collect Bling and Dizzy (pugs) with this lovely gesture

Larbellah Dog grooming is almost fully booked until I close on 20th December.
Any new clients will be asked to pay a deposit prior to booking given 3 in a fortnight made a booking and didn't show. I'm working to full capacity and turning people away so to have booking not show is dreadful. I send out a reminder of the booking 2 to 3 days before the appointment (which costs me $50 a month to do) and all you have to do is reply yes or no really not hard to reply !!
or send me an sms or phone me to cancel so I can move someone on my wait list forward . Today's non show needed to drop his dog earlier than my start time i know its hard when you work 8.30 to 5pm and he stated he couldn't get an appointment anywhere i thought id help this person i offered for his dog to come half hr earlier (drop dog off); so he could get to work on time and look after the dog all day until he finished work and he didn't show nor did he reply to ' are you attending your appointment " as well as no reply to his reminder text.sent 2 days ago
This is my living not a hobby. Lucky I wasn't paying staff for a non show.
My long term clients / loyal clients thankyou for always supporting me and for always letting me know if illness etc will prevent you for a non attendance so appreciated .
