Albury Animal Care Centre The Albury Animal Care Centre houses dogs, cats & livestock that have been found stray or abandoned Microchipped animals are kept for 14 days if not claimed.

Unidentified animals (non microchipped) will be kept at the Albury Animal Care Centre for 7 days if not claimed. At the end of this time period, the animals become the property of Albury City Council and can be legally sold or destroyed. All impounded dogs or cats in New South Wales must be microchipped and lifetime registered before being released or sold. You can read the Companion Animals Act,

Hugo is just an extra large puppy needing someone to show him boundaries and behaviour. When he arrived he didn’t even know how to sit, now he thinks it’s easy.
He learns very quick but is a very large puppy that needs someone with breed and big dog experience.
He loves the ball and belly scratches.

Incase you havent heard 👂🏽 we are super excited to be working with the AlburyCity Rangers to bring the border residents a FREE microchipping and updating of details day ! 🗓️ 17th of March (This sunday) ⏰ 10am - 2pm 🗺️ Bunnings Albury 🐕 All dogs to be on a leash 🐈 Cats to be in a carry box (come grab us to borrow one) 📦 We will have some goodies to give away ! Come down and see us ! We aim to get as many animals chipped and details updated as possible ! We want to help get your best mate home sooner if they go for a wonder. While you’re there dont forget to grab a classic Bunnings Snag and support AWAR who will be hosting the BBQ 🌭
