So we are glad to announce that David Cowley from Canada will be judging both the round 3 of the Battle of the Borders and our NSW State Championship.

So we are putting out feelers if we have enough interest to hold a clinic with David on the Friday the 22nd November 2024.

Well our first round of the Battle of the Borders was an amazing turn out.

Thank you to everyone that travel near and far to attend. Without your commitment to this amazing sport we wouldn’t be able to hold this event.

A huge thank you to Kim Peterson for judging a whopping 80 runs, to Nathan and Mat for timing keeping and add up all the scores, to Sam for scribing and to the horse husbands ( you know who you are) for jumping in and helping when needed.

So rest up for a bit and then get ready for round 2 at chiltren on the 28th September.

For those that want to get some great pointers and practice before the first round of the Battle of the Borders Round 1 we highly recommend Pinky Collins.

Aiming to run a come try obstacles and ranch riding , WEATHER PERMITTING ,18thAugust , working on advancing rider control and correct approach to manoeuvres patterns obstacles ,and rider confidence during transitions, in all events . 2x 3 hour sessions 9.30 to 12.30. 1 till 4 , $100 per session pm me for any other info .

So was a great day at our working bee.

Got a lot done, so the new sand was spread at the original fence line but as you can see we have expanded it. The yards now have 10 over night yards as well as yards to hold cattle, and our suspension bridge is almost together just need a few tools to finish it off tomorrow.

For everyone that came and helped, THANK YOU THANK YOU. Without you all we wouldn’t of gotten the stuff done

So we are very happy to say that our suspension bridge is finally at the grounds. A huge thank you to Bernie for organising it to be delivered down here.

So now we have the task of putting it together as well as putting up the panels to make it secure. So that means we will be doing a working Bee in a few weeks. It would be greatly appreciated if we had as many hands as well as someone with access to a forklift to move panels and such.
