Is black gloss the bane of your existence like it was ours?

Especially on a grey every smudge, run, or bit of balling up is highly noticeable, and don't get me started on if they rub and smear it down their whole face!

I am very happy to say that I am officially leaving that problem behind! We couldn't even get it off when we tried at the end of the day to give it a good test, and even on a warm humid day it didn't run at all.

Lovely day at Corio Moorabool Pony Club on Sunday doing some plaiting and show prep lessons with the kids for the start of the show season 🥰

We showed a lot of long mane friendly plaits for those that enjoy their horses beautiful manes, but also want to look neat and tidy in the ring 💛

After the solstice your horses will start to shift towards shedding and summer coats - so it's an ideal time to get rid of that thick winter fuzz!

Body clips range from $100 - $150, with multiple horse discounts available for groups at the same property.

Much like my own connemaras this dude was growing enough coat to tackle winter in the wilds of Ireland - which isn't always compatible with the mild days of a working pony down under! He will be feeling much cooler now.

Always love clipping George! This year he's sporting a hunter clip opposed to his usual blanket, and I think he looks gorgeous 😍
George is a grulla, which is a black horse with the dun dilution and one of my favourite interesting coat colours!
