Joshua’s Journey – A True Fighter ✨

13-year-old Joshua came to us with significant neck pain and severe muscle atrophy over his left shoulder.

Dr Karen, our skilled rehabilitation Vet, was initially concerned about the possibility of permanent nerve damage, which could have meant no return of muscle tone.

Thanks to Dr. Karen’s incredible expertise in acupuncture and after two weeks of dedicated rehabilitation, including Under Water Treadmill therapy - Joshua is not only rebuilding muscle but is back out enjoying walks with his mum! 🐾

Dr Karen is thrilled with his progress – and so are we! 💜

Sweet Koda stayed with us this week for some much needed rehab and recovery time after his cruciate repair 8 weeks ago.

He took it all in stride with gentle walks, tailored exercises, and of course, plenty of cuddles and encouragement from the team.

🐾 Defying the Odds – Zena’s Story 🐾

Our Hydro Dog of the Week, Zena, is not just a swimmer, she’s a warrior 💙

A few months ago, this strong old girl faced a devastating haemorrhagic brain injury, leaving her unable to walk.
At one point, we had to assist her with everything, and we truly feared the worst.

But Zena had other plans.
With unwavering love from Janine, ongoing acupuncture, dedicated care, and even some time in wheels, this stubborn, incredible girl refused to give up.
And today?
She’s back on her paws and keeping her old bones moving with hydrotherapy!

Her journey is nothing short of inspiring, and we’re so proud to be part of her continued fight.

Keep swimming, Zena! 💪💦

Hydro Hula Hoop Fun! 💦🌀

A few of our regulars had a blast in the pool, swimming through hula hoops for a bit of extra fun and focus.

The hoops helped them slow down and really think about where they were going - great for both minds and muscles! 💪🧠

Of course, it wouldn’t be a Hydro day without a cheeky moment… one of the pups decided the hoop was theirs and swam off with it, leaving our hydrotherapist trailing behind 😂

Just another day of laughter and wagging tails in the water! 💜
