Did you know that an I.D tag is the quickest way to get your lost pets back to you?

It doesn't have to be fancy, it doesn't have to be expensive, it doesn't even have to be a tag! There are many simple options, such as writing your number in permanent ink/acrylic paint directly on your pets collar in case they lose their tag

With the storm season well & truly here, it is more important than ever to have your pets 'labelled' with your CURRENT contact details.

Same goes for microchip details but hey, that's a much bigger battle... So let's start small & ensure you put some form of identification on your pets TODAY!

Nurse Sharron has organised another morning tea fund-raiser, this time for Beyond Blue. Anyone that has tasted her snacks, knows they are absolutely amazing!
Join us tomorrow Wednesday 23rd October at 10am with a gold coin donation for a some yummy treats!
Beyond Blue is an organisation that provides a free online and telephone helpline for people with depression, anxiety or other mental health issues. An especially huge area within the Veterinary community.
Together we can reduce the stigma surrounding mental health & encourage sharing our struggles!

💔 Heartbreakingly, we are continuing to see Tick Paralysis cases every day 😔

We recommend all Dogs & Cats being on Tick Prevention all year round and even if you can't give your dogs the chews, there is now a year long injection so now there are no excuses for not staying current!

Graduating class of 2022. Throughout a tough 2022 I’ve had the absolute pleasure of dealing with these wonderful puppies and their owners. Congratulations to all and I look forward to seeing what 2023 has to offer. Nurse James 🐾🎓

🤓 Fun Fact Friday 🤓 🐾 Feathertail gliders have the most unique tail of the mammal world, with stiff bristly hairs extending horizontally from their tail to look like a feather(hence their name) 🐾 Feathertail gliders are tiny little creatures that when they are adults weigh less than 15g!They can glide a massive distances extending between 14-28m! 🐾 Their feet are also amazing with serrated groves on their pads to allow them to climb just about anything. The pads also have many sweat glands creating enough moisture to act as mini suction cups allowing them to even scale vertical windows!

We have almost treated one quarter of our last years tally of TICK PARALYSIS patients already in 2 months 😭 Not included in our tally is deaths/euthanasia without treatment.
