Beerus the cat came in for his castration, and let’s just say he wasn’t thrilled about it. 😼 He gave us the classic 'I’m too majestic for this' look the whole time. 🐸🐾 Important First Aid Tips for Pets – Dealing with Cane Toads 🐾🐸

Cane toads can be extremely dangerous to our pets. If your pet comes into contact with one, it’s vital to act quickly. Here’s what you need to do:

1. **Stay Calm:** If you suspect your pet has interacted with a cane toad, act fast.

2. **Wipe the Mouth:** DO NOT use a hose as this could cause aspiration. Instead, gently wipe your pet’s mouth and gums with a damp cloth to remove any toxins.

3. **Wipe for Approximately 10 Minutes:** Continue wiping the mouth for about 10 minutes to ensure as much toxin is removed as possible.

4. **Seek Immediate Veterinary Help:** Cane toad toxins are highly toxic and can be fatal. Even if your pet seems fine, it’s crucial to get to the vet immediately for evaluation and treatment.

5. **Signs of Poisoning:** Keep an eye out for drooling, tremors, vomiting, seizures, or difficulty walking. If you notice any of these signs, take your pet to the vet immediately.

6. **Prevention:** Keep pets indoors at night when cane toads are most active, and regularly check your yard for toads.
