๐จ Urgent Alert: Parvo & Panleuk Outbreak in SEQ & Northern NSW! ๐จ
There has been a rise in cases of canine parvovirus (parvo) and feline panleukopenia (panleuk) in Brisbane, Logan, Gold Coast, Ipswich, and Northern NSW and AWLQ is calling on all pet owners to act quickly to protect their furry friends. Both diseases are highly contagious, potentially deadly, and costly to treat.

- Vomiting
- Diarrhoea (often bloody)
- Lethargy
- Loss of appetite
- Fever
If your pet shows any of these symptoms, seek veterinary care immediately.

- Make sure your pets are up-to-date on their vaccinations.
- Keep cats indoors to limit exposure, especially young or unvaccinated ones.
- If surrendering a pet, ensure theyโve been vaccinated 2 weeks before surrender.
