Farewell Logan Village
As some of you know, I had a stroke late July. That was a warning that I needed to hang up my spanners.
We had a very kind offer for the business, which we accepted. Justin Wallace from Think Water: The Irrigation Shop in Moss St, Slacks Creek, (07) 3808 3611, is your new owner of Charles Pump Services. They will take care of your needs with water now.
I want to take this opportunity to say thank you to the people of Logan Village and surrounding areas for 34 wonderful years of getting to know you and your families. I'm going to miss you all.
I didn't know one end of a pump from the other when my husband asked me to come out to Logan Village and give it a go. "You’ll only be there two years, love.", he said. What a kidder he turned out to be!
Daniel joined us in about 1992. He came and went a couple of times until he married and settled down with a family. Thank you for taking care of me Daniel. We worked very well together. Like mother and son, as folk often thought.
Freda and Eddie (from Culgoa Dr), Jenni, Gillian, Tania, and Robert have made up the team over the years. Jackie boy, head of security is only a fairly recent addition but a very valued member, all bark and no bite. 🐕
There are really too many of you to thank individually but you all have a face in my memory, believe me. Thank you for your kindness and loyalty in making our business so successful.
So, Chris and I bid you all farewell.
To say that we will miss you is an understatement.
Thank you, Logan Village.
