BBB&B UPDATE:

They say no plan survives contact with the enemy or implementation. I’d have to agree.

Keeping this in mind, I have pivoted from BBH to Brisbane Bird Boutique and Boarding! Yay!

I am now officially opened to boarding - still one bird or a bonded pair at the time. This is to ensure best possible care for your precious feathery friend.

Even though I have lived with and cared for decades, I am currently completing not one but two bird orientated care courses, just to give my clients peace of mind. I’ll keep you updated on the progress.

I’m also working on the Boutique side of things. I have been gathering tools and best quality materials for making bird toys, cage accessories and generally bird related paraphernalia.

All my materials are bird safe and Mr Squeak and Miss Ivy have been loving road testing the prototypes.

I’d post photos, but I’m saving them for the big reveal. I cannot wait to bring the Boutique to the world!

I can share this sneak peek of hand made tags that will go into my products. Like with everything, I’m a perfectionist with these too!

An update on where I’m at.

Still moving into our new house. I’m very lucky that I don’t have a firm deadline on vacating our previous abode! But not so lucky that this is our second (or third depending how you look at it) move in four months. Good news: we’re here to stay! So no major changes in the foreseeable future!

Both our old and new houses need a lot of work still, but my two favourite painted ladies are now greeting people in the front door.

The new house has a very MCM feel to it and it’s quirkiness is fast growing on me!
