Ziggy's not scared!!
..because he knows his Mum'n'Dad won't play any tricks on him....just treats!

They won't expose him to scary dressed up strangers screaming and scaring him, making him get territorial and go nuts!

They won't have loud ghoulish music or sounds playing with unfamiliar animated objects within the house...

So basically Folks....HAVE A HAPPY HALLOWEEN!..just be mindful of your furry family members... ♥️🐾👍

Meet Hank! A lovable goofball French Bulldog!

His Mum was smart enough to know he'd benefit from a Remedial Massage given his IVDD (Inter Vertebral Disc Disease), Rt. Hip Dysplasia and Patella Luxation so she got a Vet Referral to Zen Doggy Canine Remedial Therapies.

Unfortunately Frenchies are prone to IVDD especially so we relaxed him today by loosening up those tight neck and back muscles as well as conditioning those that do alot of the weight-bearing.

Hank's home environment was assessed and he was left with a slanted food bowl to help relieve neck pressure whilst feeding. 👍

Worthwhile investment if your dog suffers from arthritis, IVDD or just gets stiff and sore as they naturally age...but still wants to keep you company on the couch, bed etc.... ♥️🐾

The last thing you want is sudden jarring impact from deciding to jump off at height. Ouch! 💥

Pet Stairs available from alot of places including Kmart and Bunnings etc.

Doris came in as an emergency when she had become acutely paraplegic (paralysed). She was a grade 4, she could not move or stand on either pelvic limb, but some feeling did remain.

Sadly, French Bulldogs are predisposed to spinal disease. This is due to the fact they often have vertebral deformities (deformed vertebrae) and their spinal discs are prone to dry out and explode and hit the spinal cord. Both are big problems which can affect the signals between the brain and the limbs.

Doris was affected by the latter, where a disc extrusion was compressing her spinal cord. We performed a hemilaminectomy at the affected site of her spine and removed all the compressive material.

Thankfully within days she was walking well and returned home. Sadly the outcome isn’t always this good as it depends on how much damage was done inside the spinal cord at the time of impact, but she, her family and all of us are delighted. x

A BIG Thank You to Dr. Alan Cornick and his staff at Waterford for allowing Zen Doggy Canine Remedial Therapies to present it's case for being such a critical component in the pre-hab, rehab, anxiety and palliative treatment of truly loved fur babies everywhere....no matter what age, size or life stage they're at.

I'm truly grateful for vets who understand the effective place I hold in their health care team. ♥️🐾
