We have room for some more adults and kids on their own horses at our camp on the 11/12th of Jan at GC Horsemanship in Meridith

For the adults we have some goal setting and mindset sessions discussing what you want to achieve in 2025 weather it be working on nerves, learning a new skill, hitting the trails or working towards the competition you have always wanted to do. Let us help you break it down into something achievable and watch the magic happen!

Of course we have the amazing obstacle course with something for riders of all levels and if your horse is new or green something that can be worked on in hand as well as mounted

We have a special guest presenting some holistic horsemanship - more details to come

And some time to sit back and/or relax or have a splash in the dam by your self or with you horse!

The next day lots of options to choose from tackling our stockmans challange course, some free time in the arena or dam, or try your luck with some mounted games

Kids session much the same with a bigger focus on the games, dam, and pony swaps with some all important ground work thrown in there

Bella visited the vet clinic today to get treatment for an ulcer on her eye from a grass seed…..she weighed in at 80kg the best things come in little packages

And that’s a wrap for 2024!!

Wow what a whirlwind this Ace Equestrian venture has been
We would like to thank the riders, their families, staff and volunteers that have all been apart of Ace this year with out all of you it wouldn’t be the same….and of course our beautiful ponies who do an amazing job day in and day out.
We would like to wish all our families an amazing Christmas and look forward to seeing you all in the new year.
Stay tuned for what’s in store for 2025 it’s going to be a big one 💕

Please note if you choose to finish lessons before the end of term we will be actively trying to fill all opens spaces this does mean that if your position has been filled prior to the end of the year your day/time will not be garranteed but we will be more than happy to find an alternate suitable time, this is just purely because obvisouly our expenses ever don’t stop so unfortunately we are unable to hold unpaid for spaces for riders until next year….

RIDING FOR PRE SCHOOLERS

Benefits of preschool horse riding lessons

I often get asked if children are to young to ride, if they are capable stay balanced sitting on the horse they are not too young to start learning.

Young young children may not be trotting around the arena but at this age we work on developing the child’s balance, coordination and confidence using various games/songs/activities not unlike young children’s swimming lessons.

When you take you young child to swimming lessons you don’t expect them to be swimming laps yet gain the vital building blocks to ensure they have a best start.

When your child comes to their first preschool
Lesson they will be working on developing confidence and trust in their pony

We then progress to working on balance and basic riding skills

Every preschooler will progress at different rates and we will not rush them at this pivotal stage in their riding journey ensuring they are balanced and confident is our priority.

How fast will my preschooler progress?

We can’t answer this question as it’s not the same for every child though after a couple of lessons we may have an idea, children that have been exposed to our preschool program from very young ages have been trotting independently and learning to canter at 4/5 years of age but this may not be the same with every child as we all develop at different speeds.

Limited Spaces!

$270 per rider school horse
$220 own horse (includes paddock/yard fee at GC )
$30 per adult (lunch dinner and breakfast including and camping fee)
$15 per spectating child (lunch, dinner and breakfast provided)

Ace family camp at GC Natural Horsemanship in Meredith

Due to being at another location, hazards such as water ect we do require a parent/guardian to camp with the child

There will be an option for the kids to go home to sleep and come back in the morning as well for those that don’t want to camp

We will be taking as many of our horses including the minis out to GC

Activities
Every child will get an hour in there amazing obstacle course
Arena activities and free riding time
Swimming on or off horses in the dam (parent supervised)
Canoeing in the dam (parent supervised)
Free time with your friends whilist our ponies rest

Facilities include a indoor common area (could sleep in here also)
Toilets
Showers
Nice grassy areas to camp
Please note there is no accomodation here so tents/swags required to camp outside, inside the common area there’s a fair bit of room to set up mattresses/stretchers
We have some small two man tents and mattress we can lend out at no charge
We can provide assistance setting uo tents ect if required

Day 1 lunch and dinner provided
Day two breakfast provided and ridden activities in the morning

Minimum of ten required to go ahead, we can do multiple camps as well

Open to all ages and all levels if we are doing multiple camps we will group accordingly
