I received an email from Scope Australia at Oran Park, asking if I would speak to the kids in their Employment Readiness Program as many expressed a desire to work with animals. Now each of these young kids had a disability but I wanted to let them know that it’s possible to thrive even with challenges. So last Monday, I drove out for a lunchtime session and they were a great bunch of kids.

I told them what I did everyday and the challenges that I face. I also told them about other jobs working with animals, hoping to inspire them to follow their passions and be the best version of themselves.

I’ve received so much support over the years that I was really happy to pay it forward 🐾👍😊
