Ok so I am a massive fan of beautiful colourful art works. 💜

I stumbled across this lady’s page not long ago and what can I say!! I’m in LOVE! 😍

Her art reminds me of my young self surrounded with all my animals. 🙌🏻💖

As a child, I was always saving baby birds that had fallen from their nests and had a fascination with frogs and tadpoles.

Every birthday and Christmas I always wanted another pet to add to my little family.

I had chooks, dogs, cats, a Mexican walking fish, frogs, Goats, guinea pigs, ducks, birds, quails, sheep, lizards, Hermit crabs an ant farm, worms farms, fish horses and the list goes on. When I got older i also discovered my love for bees and became a bee keeper 🐝

I bought my first horse at age 12, her name was Missy. Missy bought SO many wonderful memories for me as a child. Myself and my best friend Amanda would ride around My home town of Wagga Wagga from sunrise to sunset.

We would explore for hours down at the Murrumbidgee river and go for day rides from one side of Wagga to the other. She was only 13 hands but gosh she was fast. And she loved to gallop. We would swim in lake Albert, and ride to the top of rocky hill. We even went through hungry jacks drive through when we needed a bite to eat😆. We used to visit our friends and stop in at our grandparents house to say hello. My nan would always greet us with a big smile and a couple of fresh carrots for our beautiful horses.

Having a horse as a child was simply the best thing that happened to me😍 our horses were our lives. They gave us the best childhood you could ever imagine. The memories will last forever. Our adventures were just amazing. The people we met while riding were always pretty cool to.

I worked so hard saving the $250 I needed to buy Missy. I would mow my nan and pops lawn and clean my other pops house every weekend. This job then continued for many years after I had bought her to help my parents pay for horse feed. I would also scoop her poo 💩 in big bags and sell them to make a bit of extra pocket money to buy her delicious treats.

I was always a very hard worker even when I was young.

Animals have always been so important in my life.

I knew I always wanted to do something with animals when I got older. Doing this job now is so wonderful and it means that I don’t miss out on also being a fantastic mum to my children 🩷💜

Thanks for reading guys and if you ever want to ask any questions about myself, please feel free. 🐾🥰

Loving care when you’re not there

I’m Leah, I’m a dog enthusiast and I understand that your dog isn’t just your pet, but also your best friend!

Exercise is so important for dogs. No matter your dogs size, all pooches need a physical outlet to expend their energy. A tired dog is a good dog, and not only is exercise important for their physical health, it also helps with behavioural issues caused by anxiety.

At “Lead The Way” I can promise you one thing, I will look after your fur babies as if they were my own!

I have years of experience with animals and have completed numerous certificates in animal studies.
