DELIVERY DRIVER/STOREPERSON POSITION:

Discount Animal Supplies is now hiring for an immediate start.

We are a long established, well-regarded family business that specialises in pet supplies, rural animal feed, and agricultural products and equipment.

We are looking for a new team member to fill a Delivery Driver/Storeperson position.

The Delivery Driver position involves delivering hay bales, animal feed and other products to customers at their home or farm. When deliveries have been completed, the Storeperson work involves restocking shelves, assisting customers with orders, operating point-of-sale systems and moving pallets of product around the store with a forklift.

Our new team member will need to have excellent customer service skills, be able to manage workflow efficiently, and be willing to develop knowledge of pet and rural animal needs over time.

Position details:
- 38 hours per week (9 am to 5 pm) Monday to Friday
- Physically fit and able to safely move bales and feed bags (up to 30 kg)
- Full manual car driver’s licence required
- Forklift licence preferred (or willing to obtain one)
- General Retail Industry Award Level 2 applies plus end-of-year bonus
