Skater is a 10 year old, bay, TB gelding, approx 15.2 hh (maybe a little bigger).
Sire: Tycoon Ruler
Dam: Skate Date
Skater has been to pony club, done some dressage, show jumping, trail rides (by himself and with others) and is a good all rounder.
He has no nastys but can be bossy at feed time with other horses (most horses can be)! He is easy to catch, worn, float etc. he has good hard feet and doesn’t need shoes.
Skater has jumped up to about 90cm with the willingness to go higher. Skater has been ridden by a vouple of beginners but would suit a confident teen or adult rider.

If your friend tells you that your horse is worth a certain amount of money then send them to get their chequebook. Talk is cheap.

It’s extremely frustrating when owners want to set an unrealistic price based on what their mate tells them it’s worth. Yes well bred well performed well trained horses are now worth a lot of money. That doesn’t automatically bring the price up on all horses.

Also if you advertise a horse having established lead changes, big stops, jumping 1.5 metres or anything else nice then you should be able to show that when someone asks.
