Training starts the moment you get the dog, your dog needs guidance, rules and fulfilment. It's not always fun and games and there have been a few weeks of sleepless night working on night time routine but she had that pat down in the first 2 weeks. Now we are working on off leash training, trust, respect and bonding.
She is a beautiful dog and I am really starting to see her potential, even if I have been training and rehabbing dog for so many years, I most definitely had a shaker moment with her, it's normal we are humans. It's about pushing through the hard times and being constant.

Yes, they are silly and make mistakes, but you also have to teach them right from wrong.
Alo decided that what I said had no value, so I removed her from the stimulus that was causing her to ignore me. Now, if I say something to any dog and they ignore me, what do you think would happen in a pack situation if I didn't follow through with a consequence.
Working with dogs is not a game, and I don't care how old the dog is. It's important that every single dog listens to me, THE FIRST TIME, I do not repeat myself, and that's why I get the results I do with dogs.

Training your dog on leash is important! This is what we call pressure releases. Just with a finger i hold a little pressure on leash towards me, now she is a very strong headed and stubborn puppy. Once she gives me forwards motion towards me I releases pressure on leash and she then get praise for moving forward.

When you over do things like doing it for them, it can massively impact their emotions. You are removing the opportunity for your dog or puppy to gain learning capacity and emotional growth. Over time, with "YOUR HELP," the dog stops doing things for them self because they weren't allowed to learn certain things.
