Limited Vaccines Available 🐱

Due to a shortage of feline vaccines in Australia post-COVID, veterinarians have
been advised to prioritise vaccinations for unvaccinated kittens.

We’re expecting this to normalise in March/April at the latest if no further delays.

*Special cases will be considered by our clinics.

Zeus and Ninja are 12 weeks old. They are super playful and cuddly as they have been hand-reared by one of our own nurses. 🐈‍ Available to adopt together or individually.

They are available for adoption, no fee but you will need to commit to the first vaccination, microchip and preventative for $200.

Maclean - Closed from 5pm on FRIDAY DEC 22nd to 8.30am on WEDNESDAY 27th DEC, and closed for New Year’s Day on the MONDAY 1st.

Yamba - Closed on TUESDAY 19th DEC and then from 5pm on FRIDAY DEC 22nd to 8.30am on TUESDAY 2nd JAN.

Sandy Paws will be on call over Christmas. From DEC SATURDAY 23rd - TUESDAY 26th please contact (02)66465676.

Want your pets to get along? 🐱🐶

Early Socialisation: If a dog is introduced to cats or other animals at a young age and vice versa, they are more likely to get along. Early positive experiences with the other species can shape their behavior and reduce the likelihood of conflict.

Gradual Introduction: When introducing a new cat or dog to the household, it's crucial to do so gradually. Allow them to get used to each other's scents before direct interaction. Use positive reinforcement, treats, and praise to create positive associations.

Provide Safe Spaces: Cats often appreciate having elevated spaces where they can observe the dog from a safe distance. Make sure your cat has access to areas where they can retreat if they feel the need.

Patience and Training: Both cats and dogs can benefit from training. Basic commands like, sit, stay and leave it are useful for managing interactions.
