Dogs and cats have baby teeth, just like us! And like us, they fall out as we grow up and are replaced by adult teeth. But in some cases the baby teeth don’t fall out when they’re supposed to. This can cause overcrowding of the mouth, and can prevent the adult teeth from erupting into their normal position creating malocclusions and damage to other parts of the mouth.
Milo had several “retained” baby teeth extracted recently. Can you tell which teeth are the baby teeth and which are the adult teeth?
