Hi everyone, just an update on the shop hours. From 19 June we will be closed on Mondays but open until 2pm Saturdays. Web orders will be delivered on Tues, Wed, Thurs & Fri on Macleay from the week of the 19th June. Thank you to all our great customers and we hope this will suit everyone.

Prime 100 rolls will hopefully in tomorrow. The transport company they used didn't realise they had to get a barge so have just had it sisltting in their cold room for a week. Finally today they are taking it to Bay Island transport for delivery......Fingers crossed everyone

An update on the wildbirds we have in care at the moment. We received a young Corella on 5 Jan in a very imaciated state and with no strength to even hold itself up, he had been kept for 5 days not eating and given medication which should not be given to birds. Mr Corella is now doing great, still a little unsteady on his feet at times but starting to fly, grooming himself and eating seeds. Just for your information, this is the reason that anyone other than a registered competent wildlife carer needs these birds to be moved within 72 hours to give them the best chance of survival. We also have a young cockatoo who fell from a tree on 17 Jan and was very lethargic. We are still feeding him neocare and he id now starting to play with his food, calling out and flapping his wings. 😁. Sorry for no photos/videos, however it is part of wildcare proticol not to do this as it isn't about us showing off what we've done for the animals, but to just care for them until they are rehabilitated and released. Thank you to all our animal loving locals as we couldn't do it without you.
