Hey guys Christian here,
As some of you are aware, my wife and I are expecting a baby girl early December!
This means there will be a few changes with the salon as our wonderful staff navigate the craziest time of the year with a groomer down.

Please expect longer wait times with your appointments these coming months (especially our larger dog clients).

We will send a text when your dog is ready to be collected but if you’re concerned about how long it’s been, please contact the salon.
If you need your dog by a certain time, please let the staff know ASAP so we can plan ahead (please note this is not always possible but we will do our best to accommodate!)

With our books full for the year, there is no possibility to reschedule any appointments unless there is a cancellation. All of our cancellations will be posted in our ‘Alpha Pet Spa VIP’ group. Link below!

I will be out of the salon for all of December and January. With that being said, I’ll still be in contact with the girls at Alpha and be in the loop with what’s going on every few days. If you need me urgently, please ask to speak to Cheneye our salon manger and she will pass the message on and if necessary, I’ll contact you.
I couldn’t take this time with my family if it wasn’t for my amazing team so please love and appreciate them as much as I do, and let’s end 2024 with a bang!

Did someone say Saturday appointments?

With our books being full, the staff have generously decided to give up some of their weekends to get some of our favourite clients in that have missed out on appointments for 2024!

As these shifts are overtime shifts for our staff, there will be a 20% surcharge added to all appointments. Please note that with limited groomers on, we will only be taking existing clients and longer wait times are to be expected.

If you’ve missed out on an appointment or looking to squeeze an extra in before the end of the year, please send us a message or give the salon a call!

BOOKED OUT FOR 2024!

And just like that our books are fully closed which means we’re booked out for all services for the rest of the year!
This means rescheduling appointments is almost impossible, so if you do have to cancel an appointment and don’t have another one booked we won’t be able to get you in without another cancellation!

To all of our wonderful clients,
It is with sadness and excitement that we announce some big news, Alpha Pet Spa has a new owner!

I (Sam) have had an incredible five and a half years of owning the spa, but with so much of my time needed elsewhere I felt it time to step away and sell the business.

Alpha Pet Spa has flourished, growing into a beautiful busy business with a huge customer base spreading past the Maitland area. Alpha Pet Spas top priority will still be bringing our community the best grooming services possible, with care and compassion to all.

The new owner Christian is an exceptional groomer, with more than 10 years experience in the industry, three of which he has spent here with us at Alpha as a senior stylist.

Christian knows all there is to know about Alpha, its clients and our standards and these will continue on the same as they always have been.

With the same amazing team of groomers running the salon, no changes will be made to any previously booked appointments, and I will still be around a few days a week to help out.

While I am truly sad to be leaving Alpha Pet Spa, I have complete confidence that Christian will excel in this role, and I am excited to see what the future has in store for the business.

It's that time of year again!

• We are currently booking NOVEMBER. Yes you read that right 😂 with the limited appointments that we do have left I highly suggest giving the salon a call or popping in to secure a spot.

• December is now fully booked for us. Majority of our regulars have made sure they had a booking secured, if you're unsure about whether or not you have a Christmas appointment just ask!

• Limited appointments means we don't really have the leeway to shuffle any existing bookings.

• Life gets crazy sometimes and we understand you can't always make it to your appointment... A simple 'N' reply to your reminder message will automatically cancel out the booking for you. No show fees can be easily avoided this way!

• If you are on schedule and choose to downgrade your service that's fine, just keep in mind that we may not be able to upgrade due to time allocations.

• Our "Alpha Pet Spa VIP" page is where all cancellations will be posted. You can turn on notifications for page and facebook will notify you when any posts are made.

Reminder of price increase starting Monday 15th July 2024

We have tried our best to simplify the pricing for everyone in this latest pricing structure.

We will have new brochures at the salon hopefully early next week for everyone to take home.

Please also take note a change in our cancellation policy, unfortunately it is starting to become more common of people to ignore the reminder texts and not show up to a booked appointment.

We will be taking these more seriously with higher fees if you do this, as this is a direct loss of income for us with no ability to then fill your spot and recover those costs.

If you cannot attend, please just reply with a N to the message and your appointment will be automatically cancelled.
