Reminder of price increase starting Monday 15th July 2024

We have tried our best to simplify the pricing for everyone in this latest pricing structure.

We will have new brochures at the salon hopefully early next week for everyone to take home.

Please also take note a change in our cancellation policy, unfortunately it is starting to become more common of people to ignore the reminder texts and not show up to a booked appointment.

We will be taking these more seriously with higher fees if you do this, as this is a direct loss of income for us with no ability to then fill your spot and recover those costs.

If you cannot attend, please just reply with a N to the message and your appointment will be automatically cancelled.

Alpha Pet Spa is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic individual looking for an entry level position into the animal industry.

Job position: Salon Assistant/ Bather

Job description:
- You will be responsible for bathing and drying dogs for groomers, using the correct products and technique.
- You will be required to upkeep your work area with daily cleaning, and deep cleaning of the salon as frequently as needed.
- you will need to assist groomers with handling of dogs or whatever other tasks are required around the salon.

Hours:
The position will be casual to begin with, for the right person the opportunity for 30+ hours per week available on a permanent basis.
Must be available Monday- Friday, no weekends required.

No previous experience is necessary, all training will be provided however a can do attitude is a MUST!

This is a hard job, it’s very physically demanding and a very fast paced environment with high standards.

Please only apply if you are a hard worker and would love a chance to enter this industry, it is not a fun playing with dogs all day 🐶 🥰

We have had to make the hard decision to once again review our pricing for the remainder or 2024.

As a small business owner we face a daily battle with the rising cost of living, like so many others and in order to keep our doors open we will need to increase some of our prices from July 15th.

We are still working behind the scenes to make these adjustments only to the services that need it, and we will also be simplifying our pricing slightly.
Due to this we have decided not to put the changes into effect from July 1st as we would like to give our customers as much notice as possible.

We understand this may push us out of your budget, we will be truly saddened to loose any customers due to this price increase but know we are not going to be everyone’s fit, and are happy to pass on any grooming notes should you wish to move onto another groomer.

More details will be released soon with the exact price changes and the services it affects.

Please note we will not tolerate any rudeness towards our staff due to this, and have the right to refuse service should we feel necessary.

Luckily we have an amazing supportive community and we are hoping to keep our business open and successful for you for many years to come ❤️🐾

Wanting to put out a special congratulations to our beautiful Abby. You may not have had the pleasure of meeting Abby yet, she has been with the Alpha team for just over 6 months doing an amazing job bathing all of your pooches.

Abby is working hard behind the scenes to improve her skills and this weekend she entered into the model dog section at Novo groom and came away with two 3rd place ribbons!

We are very proud of Abby and can’t wait to watch her grow as a groomer, if you see her around the salon make sure you say hi ❤️

Novo groom did not disappoint!
Sam finished 1st place in Open poodle and took away best in group.
Libby finished 1st in Open Salon Freestyle and 2nd in Open Poodle. Very proud of us both!!!

Thankyou to the judges and to Hannah KG for putting together such an amazing weekend. And a big thankyou to all the sponsors, we will be back next year!

Have you ever heard of a dog grooming competition before?

Next weekend 8th and 9th June, Sam and Libby Pink Print Pet Styling are attending the first ever NovoGroom 2024 grooming competition held at Mayfield Scout Hall.

If you’re interested in seeing what it’s all about Libby will be competing at 1.30pm on Saturday in the Salon freestyle category and both Sam and Libby will be competing Sunday afternoon at 1.30 in the poodle category.

Feel free to come show your support, the venue is only small but is open to the public for viewing ❤️🐾

✂️ Grooming comp update ✂️
On Tuesday the team headed down to the Sydney Royal Easter Show to watch Libby compete and as always, she blew us away!
She competed twice this year - bringing home a 2nd place with Bunny (salon freestyle) and 4th place with Lavender (poodle class). Both of the girls behaved beautifully and it was amazing watching Lib do her thing. If you see her face around the shop a big CONGRATULATIONS is in order 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼
Also a big congratulations to all the other groomers who competed in the competitions, such a great day and atmosphere! 🐩

To all our lovely clients,

Just wanted to write another post regarding repeated appointments as we’ve had a few confused clients show up without bookings - repeat appointments that were booked last year in 2023 were NOT rolled over unless personally requested, with over 3000 clients it just isn’t practical for us to do so.

From September last year our “2024 repeat forms” have been available on our website for you guys to fill out if you were wanting to be on a schedule with us, Numerous posts were made regarding these forms and we got over 700 form submission (which is a lot! 😂). With these forms it was basically a “first in best dressed” situation and they were completed in order of submission.

Mornings and Fridays were our most popular appointments and they’ve all filled up super quickly! We always try our best to accomodate our clients but please be mindful that with how busy we already are your preferred appointment time and day may not be available.

If you’re a client who hasn’t filled out a form and would like a repeat, they’re still available to fill out on our website or give us a call and we can figure something out. We are currently booking mid Feb - please be patient 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼
