Please sign the petition and help save our Iconic Igloo!!

Hi everyone. We only have three weeks remaining until the petition needs to be submitted in order to be considered by council. We need everyone’s help in spreading the word – so as many people as possible can sign the petition. If you haven't yet signed please do so asap. If you are unable to attend a location to sign – please let me know and I’ll bring it to you. All petition forms that have been handed out to individuals need to be returned to me personally by 25th August so they can be collated and copies made prior to being submitted.

Jackson is on trial for adoption in a wonderful home ❤️🥰🐶. Thank you for all your enquiries comments and shares! Let’s keep our fingers crossed that this beautiful little man has found his forever home!

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Jackson has ended up back in our care and DESPERATELY needs a home.
Due to being moved around so often, Jackson is suffering a lot of anxiety and heartbreak and really needs someone who can show him love, time and consistency. Ideally we would love someone to adopt Jackson or foster to adopt him as he is easily attached and with every move, Jackson is suffering.

You may remember reading Jackson's heartbreaking story about how he ended up in the care of Remote Animal Assistance.
Unfortunately, Jackson has not been able to secure a place to call his own and is desperately searching for someone who can love him as much as he loves them.

Jackson is a gentle, loving and friendly senior dog who adores humans.
He is a very easy-going boy and is extremely low maintenance.
Whether you are watching a movie or going for a drive, Jackson wants to be involved.🚗📺

Despite being 9 years of age, Jackson is fit and healthy.

Goodmorning everyone,
Will get appts for this week out today. Sorry I didn’t do them yesterday but I was a bit busy with a sore and sorry puppy dog who decided we needed a late night vet visit on Saturday Night (after chasing possums and nicking a vein in his back leg). I have never seen so much blood 😥
But he is on the mend now and he is one lucky boy 🐾

In the quiet hours of the night, when the house settles into a gentle rhythm, my father finds solace on the sofa bed downstairs. Beside him lies our elderly dog—a loyal friend who has aged gracefully but now faces the limitations of time. The stairs, once a familiar pathway to cozy bedrooms and dreams, have become insurmountable for our faithful companion.

As Dad settles into the cushions, he pats the worn fabric, inviting our canine friend to join him. The dog's eyes, clouded with wisdom and a lifetime of shared moments, meet Dad's gaze. There's an unspoken understanding between them—a silent pact forged over years of companionship. The dog's once-energetic tail now wags gently, as if to say, "I'm here, old friend."

Together, they drift into sleep—the rhythmic breathing of one blending seamlessly with the other. The dog's warmth radiates, providing comfort to Dad's tired bones. Memories flood the room—the days when the dog chased after tennis balls, the laughter echoing through the hallways, and the joy of simple walks in the park. Now, those memories are etched into the fabric of the sofa, woven into the very fibers that cradle them both.

The stairs stand as a silent barrier, separating the upper floor—the realm of dreams and memories—from the cozy refuge below. Our dog, once agile and spry, now struggles with each step. His eyes, still bright with love, watch Dad ascend to his own bed. But the dog remains steadfast, choosing the familiar comfort of the living room over the uncertainty of the climb.

Dad's love knows no bounds. He sacrifices his own restful nights to be near our faithful companion. He listens to the soft snores, the occasional whimper, and the gentle sighs. In return, the dog offers silent gratitude—a nuzzle against Dad's hand, a paw resting on his chest. Their hearts beat in sync, a testament to the enduring bond between man and animal.

And so, in the dim glow of the nightlight, they share their stories. Dad whispers about his youth, his dreams, and the adventures that shaped him. It’s off to work I go…. 😊
Officially back at work tomorrow (Tuesday). I would like to thank all of you lovely people (furry and peoples alike) for having so much patience with me over these last few months…
I feel blessed beyond belief and my heart is full of gratitude for each and everyone of you… 🐾❤️

Surgery on my knee is booked for 10th May 24.. and will have to have a week off. I will endeavour to get everyone clean & smelling fresh before this date.

Apologies to all of my clients but I am having to cancel the rest of this weeks appts. My water heater has blown up and I am waiting for a new one to arrive. I have made this decision as I am sure your dogs would not like to have a cold bath in this weather. Sorry for any inconvenience
