Am back to do a little post on my most favourite product! The humble bone broth! I just love it and could honestly talk about it all day ๐คญ๐คญ
This one here is a human one I make for the whole family! I use homemade bone broth in place of stock cubes, I save some bones in the freezer when I have a enough for a slow cooker full I make a big batch at the end of the week, using left over veggies and herbs.
This particular bone broth 2 chicken carcass x 4 chicken feet, 1/4 of ACV (with the mother) has turmeric, black pepper, x6 garlic cloves, a white onion, a lemon, pak choy , celery, carrots & parsley & chive (all hanging around in the fridge)
I will simmer on high for around 24hrs, let it cool then strain and store in 1 litre containers in the freezer.
When am ready to use the broth i pull it out a couple of ours before to let it defrost, or blast it in the microwave or Iโve even just added it to the pan frozen and let it melt.
I donโt add any salt to the broth as I do that once I cook as I find you can control the salt a little better by adding as you go.
Lets talk about some of the benefits of bone broth for you and your dog:
Bone broth contains important nutrients, particularly vitamins and minerals such as calcium, magnesium and phosphorous, which make it a beneficial dietary supplement for anybody (including your pet) Think of it as a natural vitamin and mineral pill in liquid form.

The high protein content in combination with other essential nutrients helps repair the body, so itโs a great dietary addition for anyone who is focused on healthy eating.

Theses are just some picture I have found on my phone from a few years ago before he started on his Pawsome Grub diet!
As you can see his fur is missing in several areas over his body l, dry, crackers, red and inflamed skin. I didnโt add the ear pictures as they were actually a little to graphic ๐
But as you can see from the picture and videos it was pretty intense! โน๏ธโน๏ธโน๏ธ
So intense that we made the decision to have him put to sleep as he was constantly suffer with no help from any medication & he had built up a resistance to every kind of antibiotic so the vet decided not to treat the infection anymore but to keep him comfortable on pain relief ๐๐
He wasnโt comfortable he was sad & miserable , wasnโt eating and didnโt want to participate in any of his favourite things such as walks, chasing the ball ๐ฅ & catching bubbles ๐ซง โน๏ธโน๏ธ
So we tried one more thing a high protein, all natural home cooked meal! In other words Pawsome Grubโs gourmet cooked casserole was born ๐ฒ no more dried biscuits which we were constantly being told to feed him, which he hated ๐คข

Homemade Slow Cooked Gourmet cooked Casseroles 650g.(NEW RECIPE)
Our very first product! and boy! are we proud of it!!
Still today it is our most popular product! and for good reason.
Our Gourmet Casseroles are perfect for daily food, you donโt have to feed anything else as our casseroles contain everything your dog needs and much more. From a weaning puppy to a senior dog our casseroles are simply the best.
Packed with 80% single human grade protein (no cheap off cuts here!)
We keep our casseroles single protein so if you order pork casseroles it will contain, 80% pork meat, pork- liver, kidney & spleen and pork bone broth.
Its all very complex but we have heaps of puppers with allergies (including our very own Barnaby) but thatโs why we are different from the rest!!!
We donโt use heavily packed multivitamins to make up the gaps in our casseroles, we use 80% muscle meat followed by a whole heap of other all natural products such as: golden turmeric paste, flaxseed, sesame seed, free range ground egg shell.
Each casserole is hand prepared at home in small batches.
How best to serve:
you can serve straight out the container, You can give it a little blast in the microwave, or our favourite way add a little slightly cooled boiled water, not only does it make your casseroles go a little further, it quickly warms and adds a boost of hydration. (we find this particularly good during the winter months when our puppers are less likely to consume enough daily intake of water)
How to store: we donโt add anything to preserve our casseroles whatsoever no preservatives, additives, salts etc. all casseroles are perishable, so keeps nice in the fridge for up to 1 week or best frozen to keep all nutrients intact for up to 3 months.
