Qualified dog trainer, behavioural consultant, government accredited (National Dog Training Federation to Level Three/dog behaviour). Eric started his passion for Dog communicating in Scotland where he grew up in the highlands, working with and training Gun Dogs and Sheep Dogs, assisting farmers and game keepers. His passion soon grew into a career and when Eric emergrated to Perth he started volu

nteering in dog rescue, which lead him to complete his National Qualifications in dog behaviour in Melbourne. He then went onto working with five major dog refuges and animal shelters with dog behavioual issues, where he gained a reputation for working with fear and aggression in dogs. Eric specialises in dog behavioral problems and training. The Dog Communicator services all areas of Western Australia. " No dog is too young or too old to learn good behaviour".

Animal protection society southern river , today the pack and I are doing puppy socialisation, right now nearly every rescue is swamped with puppies , this is flash nine weeks old , probably am staff cross and just the sweetest little puppy 🐶

As discussed in last nights video I couldn’t show how dog aggressive this little girl was but trust me she was about as bad as it gets , joshie got to work his magic first and then she became good with the whole pack , one of the craziest turn rounds I’ve ever seen .

Just thought I’d show you follow up video of the big entire cane corso Mr banks who came in a couple of days ago scared and a little aggressive now doing well with the pack , I know people might not believe me or find it funny but this little frenchie was in my top ten of most dog aggressive dogs I’ve ever seen so bad I couldn’t show you it was just to distressing for me the dog and the owner , will do video on her tomorrow night 🐶

Much better behaved dogs tonight amazing what some exercise a hot day and air conditioning can do to change behaviour, the big cane corso has just arrived and is a desensitisation process by tomorrow he should be ready to become pack social . 😊🐶

This is ten week old Cadbury and yesterday was his first day of socialisation with the pack , and today he found his new forever home with a lovely family who live on a beautiful property and because I know them I’m going to say with absolute certainty this is one puppy that won’t be going back to rescue 😊🐶

Rare breed dogs for you today these are xolos, the national dog of Mexico , they come in three sizes , mainly hairless but can also have fur , were kept by the aztecs three thousand years ago, very loyal
To there family, these two have a few issues we had to work through , but both dogs and humans did well with lots of homework to follow.🐶

Maverick is the large cream coloured six month old puppy with the red collar , he’s staying with me until the girls find the right home for him , he does have a few issues 🫤 but a lovely dog who I would like to keep but unfortunately I have promised she who must be obeyed, no more young dogs 😂 , as always don’t message me go through the above rescue .

Sorry it’s been a while since last video , thought it was time for cute puppy video , this is snowball around twelve weeks old and he’s a very lucky boy he came out of a regional pound that had parvo , so now hes done his quarantine and all good for pack socialisation and a new home .

This lovely sweet girl came from a regional pound she was booked in to die at three thirty and the girls got to her at two thirty , heartbreaking that beautiful dogs like this are losing there lifes every day because supply is just out waying the demand .

Animal protection society, these two were two of eleven pups but luckily these days the rescues share them to take the pressure of ,we also have mum who is a stumpy tail cattle dog , dad unknown but large I assume , great pups very stable great with people very chilled kids .

I don’t think I’ve done a rescue video since December, it’s still going on but unfortunately the rescue had to pull out of Rockingham pound due to irreconcilable differences as they say , big thing for me after going there every week for fourteen years , but life goes on still rescuing dogs just change of location , still way to many dogs out there and not enough places to put them .

Reactivity is how I pay the bills , these two girls have high level of defensive reactivity when they see dogs and sometimes people , but it’s never about me training the dog it’s always about training the owners . 🐶🐶🐶

Our Story

Eric grew up in rural Scotland surrounded by working dogs, Springer Spaniels, Labradors, Retrievers and Border Collies. He had never seen a Bull Breed dog until he started to work in dog rescue ten years ago. Eric very quickly fell in love with this breed and never looked back. It is estimated whilst working with ten different dog rescues in Western Australia he has helped saved approx 30,000 pound dogs. This in itself shows the experience, knowledge and dedication that Eric has developed the understanding of how to rehabilitate scared and fearful misunderstood dogs.

Eric now specialises in dog on dog aggression, fear aggression to humans and other dogs and extreme lead reactivity. When Eric is asked about his methods of rehabilitation his response is “its never a one size fits all, every dog is different and the training has to be tailored to fit that individual dogs needs”.

A part of of Eric’s rehabilitation philosophy for your dog is to come and meet you and explain all the methods of how to rehabilitate your dog, then its up to you to decide what will work for you.

Eric travels all over the Metro with a pack of Bull Breed dogs that he has rescued who were mostly all too damaged to ever be re-homed and now they all pay it forward by helping other broken dogs.
