We explain this to all puppy owners but this explains it well for why you should not let your pup jump or over exercise when young

Puppies shouldn't jump excessively because their joints, specifically their growth plates, are still developing and not fully fused, making them vulnerable to injury from the impact of jumping; this can lead to long-term joint problems if too much stress is placed on them during their growth phase.
Key points about puppy joints and jumping:
Growth plates:
These are areas of cartilage at the ends of bones where growth occurs, and when a puppy jumps, the impact can damage these still-developing plates.
Muscle development:
Puppies also lack the muscle strength to properly cushion the impact of a jump, further increasing the risk of injury.
Potential for joint issues:
Allowing a puppy to jump too much can lead to problems like hip dysplasia or elbow dysplasia later in life.
What to do instead:
Limit jumping:
Discourage your puppy from jumping off furniture or stairs, and provide ramps or steps for access if necessary.
Gentle exercise:
Focus on low-impact activities like short walks, playtime with appropriate toys, and gentle training exercises.

Alright fam, we had our beautiful girl Marlee retire recently and went off to live with an elderly lady, unfortunately it just hasn’t worked out so Marlee is looking for a family asap to enjoy the rest of her days with. hit the dm for details. Serious family’s only- Marlee gets on with other dogs and cats, she is a high energy girl so needs a suitable family

Just a quick update on how it will work from now on with external clients wanting to use our boys. We have had far too many breeders reach out to use our boys, lock us in for specific days and then ghost us. When a breeder reaches out to use our boys we make sure we keep our days reasonably free so we can get our boys to the vets to get the job done. So as you can imagine it is a real pain in the arse when people do this to us ! And it happens a lot ! So from now on if you even want me to think about you. Deposits are required with FULL payment before insemination goes down. This is the only way we will do business now. Don’t like it… don’t use our boys 🤷🏽‍♂️.

If you missed our story the other day we are looking for a guardian or co own for our boy bear to make room for new dogs next year. Must be between Mandurah and Leech hwy and bear needs to be available to me at all times and sometimes at short notice for when he’s needed for stud work. He will remain in my breeding program until hes 5 years old then will be desexed. He’s an amazing playful boy and will be suitable for a family but keeping in mind he’s around 35-40kg and very active.
