Meet Chevy 💙
This dear 12 year old Jack Russell X ended up with a 20mm grass seed stuck behind his 3rd eyelid - how uncomfortable!! 😬
Chevy was rubbing his eye and it was weepy.
Dr Kate was able to remove this pesky seed and provide some medicated eye drops to help Chevy feel better.
We hope you're back living your best life Chevy!
This is a timely reminder to check your pets over regularly for any signs of potential grass seed issues. 🌾
Other places where grass seeds can become lodged include between toes, up noses, in ears & simply in the skin anywhere on the body. Something so easily missed too unfortunately.

Meet Warren and Rolo! 💕💕
Both looking super adorable as they recovered from their anaesthetic procedures today.
Warren came in for a routine Castration and Rolo ended up having some blood tests and radiographs taken.

Our dearest Dr Michelle had her last day at Greenfields recently. We know that those clients who had the pleasure of seeing Michelle in clinic will miss her too.
Michelle had been with us for 10 years & was known for her easy-going, help if she can, gentle nature & approach. Helping her patients & their owners was always at the forefront for Michelle, right alongside being such a pleasure to work with.
Thank you for everything that you brought to Greenfields. We wish you all the very best with your future endeavours Michelle! 🤗

🐍 Snake Bite Season 🐍

With the days getting warmer and longer, snake are becoming more active.
If you see your pet near a snake or showing any of the following symptoms, you need to seek veterinary treatment immediately..

- collapse, weakness
- ⁠muscle tremors, shaking
- ⁠drooling
- ⁠dilated pupils
- ⁠inability to control bladder or bowels
- ⁠discoloured, dark urine

Please be aware of your pets surroundings & aware of the symptoms to look out for. 🐾
