We've been off-line and pretty quiet for most of this year. Sadly our team have had a number things happen this year, which we will address later and give you an update on what's happening.
But today, Jodi has finally been well enough to get out and about. So we've stuck over to Somerton Pub to join Snagquip! It's a bit damp out today, but we're all here and set up.
We've got some leads, collars, and a few yard muzzles for sale.
Shadow has also braved the weather and she's making herself at home conning snacks from anyone who will feed her. Shadow is our only female hound in care at the moment and she is cat tolerant... Actually kitties are pretty scary.😉

We hate to ask & I (Jodi) have agonised over this decision... But we urgently need your help! Our beautiful Sophie has taken ill!
Our vet has referred us for a CT, to determine what is causing Sophie's paralysis. As you can imagine these aren't cheap & we don't have large funds like that accessible every day. I am working on a few options, but in the meantime, we need to get Sophie a diagnosis, so she can receive the proper treatment.

We also want to make our followers aware that things may happen a little slower in the coming weeks... Unfortunately the ongoing saga that is the hound car (Jodis Tribeca) has escalated! This video was taken a while ago... Now the air bag light comes on and off as it pleases and as of last weekend, fluids are leaking!🤦♀️ Jodi noticed a funny smell on her trip to do Rosys Adoption, so checked the car the next day (it was dark that night). For some reason the washer and coolant bottles were empty & the radiator didn't look like it had anything in it!😢 So, we filled them all up and put something under the car to find out what was coming from where. The next morning the box also had oil in it!😭 The Washer bottle was not empty and the coolant was lower, but not empty. Jodi has topped up everything again and set out to Gunmedah, then dropped her car at Stacey's for a few days while we were away... Her car sat at Stacey's from Sunday until Wednesday.
Wednesday morning, the washer bottle was empty, the coolant was lower again. After retopping everything up and a quick trip to town, Jodis neighbour (who's handy with cars) volunteered to help out and have a look for her. This is where the news gets confusing.🤦♀️ There seems to be water(? Maybe coolant, as it's light coloured) leaking from around the same area as the oil leak!😱 There doesn't seem to be water in the oil or anything, so that's a start... Either way, Jodi has been advised to do as little driving as possible in it and no long trips away.🤦♀️
We do have a few thank yous to go out, because without these people the hounds wouldn't have food, new hounds couldn't arrive and current hounds could not have gone to homes!!

It's wet, cold and rainy here at HQ today, so we are having a pj day. Kenzie is our most energetic dog in the house and this was her only effort to play with me, even though I annoyed her for a few kins with the toys to get any response!🤣
