This is Redgum Bellamis' c**t, by Waler Heart Prince II ... Atm, he goes by Noble's Big Mac, and I'm not sure what his owner will register him as, but he is a beautiful solid coloured c**t, magnificent movement and graceful in all his action.
He'll be gelded in the new year, I suspect, and as Bella will be going back under saddle soon, he will be probably one of the first weaned, along with Travellers' Tikka.

I have some serious strength building to do, with the last year being such a smash to my body with chemo etc..
But with my last surgeons report being extremely positive, I'm keen to get out there and really get some of the dust knocked off my skills!!

Forgive my tragic filming...
This is Dashy, proving that loss of one eye hampers nothing... he's been a bit of an unimpressed baby, with people; but this week, he's been coming along well to human touch and will be gelded with Semi in the next fortnight or so..we're working on getting hands on the neck so the sedation shot isn't a drama (he can be very dramatic)... but he's coming along well, and with a little less fizz than I was expecting.
He'll be headed to his new home after castration recovery

Some days as a crazy horse person really suck... other days are improved by a visit to the vet...Sadly, little Eden barr...

Some days as a crazy horse person really suck... other days are improved by a visit to the vet...
Sadly, little Eden barrelled full tilt into a very solid concreted steel hitching rail- - she hit her shoulder, and we feared every thing from haematoma to dislocation, to fracture... post-xray and ultrasound, it looks like she's going to be a sore little poppet for a while, but thankfully, no fractures/dislocation.. however, we think her right eye also made contact with rail/post, and it looks to be far more serious..
I am still very thankful, because a horse CAN live with one eye very comfortably.. but they cannot live on 3 legs as well.
This little girl is going to get some pretty severe molly-coddling, but she is the perfect patient for it, and her dam is the sweetest mare, seemingly knowing that we're here to help.
Unfortunately, they'll be heading into their new home with injury baggage, next week...
