Regular bath and blowdrys are important for feline hygiene. This reduces house hold allergies and asthma as we remove dead hair, dander, dust.

A few common questions we get asked.

Do cats enjoy a wash ?
Like anything it is important to wash and desensitise as a baby to show them that water is actually a relaxing calm process the more regular you bath and handle your cat the more relaxed they are.

But why wash cats when they clean & Groom themselves?
This is a very old wifes tale. Cats need regular grooming Licking yourself is definitely not a hygienic way to shower, how would you feel if your only shower was by your own tongue

Do you sedate to groom?
NO, We definitely do not sedate any animal in our care and we do not recomend it. We believe in a calm and professional environment where the cats feel safe. If any cay shows signs of aggression we will not continue. We will never put our team or any animal at the risk of injury both mentally or physically

It has been 2 years since we had a price rise, and unfortunately this financial year we are forced to rise our prices effective 1st July 2024

Wages are expected to rise again 3.75%
Super 0.5%
Rent 4%
Plus the rise of consumables, rates, power, water plus more.

We sincerely apologise as we understand the cost of living is tight but for us to stay in operation and keep our staff employed there is no option but to rise our prices to meet inflation

I want to share this video of this sweet Chow Chow that visited us today. First time customer from Brisbane. Now this is an education post for both uneducated groomers and owners. DOUBLE COATS NEED TO BE RESPECTED !!! I understand if an owner wants to clip their dog that's perfectly fine and it's up to them I shave many border collies as long as their aware it WILL damage the coat over time and won't grow back the same colour or texture. BUT!!! I have had too many dogs come to us lately that the dog Hasn't been clipped but the "Groomer" has either damaged the coat using the wrong tools ( A coat king) or the have Scissored to "Tidy" the hair. And then I have to explain to the owner why the coat isn't that beautiful glossy look any more, why it's frizzy and horrible and then the poor owner has to pay massive amounts and long grooming appointments to get the coat back. This goes for Golden Retreiver, samoyed, pomeranians ect. These breeds should have VERY MINIMAL scissoring only around the feet. Once you start cutting the coat the soft fuzzy under coat over takes the guard hairs and suffocates any new growth. The undercoat is the dull hair that you see me pulling out for any new vibrant colour or glossy coat to come through we now have to hand strip all the dead coat to allow new growth to come through. Think of the under coat as weeds it will overtake your garden if you let it you need to pull it out not cut it at the roots where it will continue to grow and overtake the garden
