And we are back for an exciting 2023. It’s shaping up to be a busy one!!
Looking forward to working with this little fella on some basic foal handling Emily Welch-Denham
So while Alyce stays home to work horses the other half of DNA go fishing.
Someone has to get the fish for the freezer
Horses everywhere. We are all enjoying a day off.
A bit of Tuesday fun and games for the breakers
It’s a little late but here’s a little something from Mt Surprise draft. We had some ups and had some downs but all in all a great weekend. Just missed out on the open final on Fortynine Peptos and Miss Mia had a crack on LJ thanks Louie (Teeny and Locky) for letting Mia borrow ur trusty stead.
Well done to the committee and all the helpers for a great weekend of drafting fun and football 😂
Finally home after another awesome 4 days of campdrafting at Greenvale. Just a little something to share with u all. Forty nine Peptos running an 86 in the maiden.
A massive congratulations to the Greenvale Campdraft Committee for their hard work putting this all together, the sponsors, volunteers and of course the competitors.
Made a couple of finals but no winnings for the DNA team this weekend but all horses ran well and we couldn’t be happier.
Another from the big bay at Hughenden’s Campdraft 4 A Cause. This one produced an 84 point run. A lot of big names and bigger scores across all events, such a great weekend. The charity auction alone raised over $15k to go to Little Windmills. A great effort form everyone involved.
Well it took just over 12hrs via charters towers (the long way) to get to Hughenden for the first draft for the year but it was worth it. The big brown fella putting one round with a 89 point run. Big thanks to the Campdraft 4 A Cause committee for all the hard work that goes into the organisation of the draft and also the amazing sponsors, without them these events wouldn’t be possible.
What does the DNA Team do on a day off?
Live and breathe horses 🥰
