What a great weekend!

Thank you to Alyce from DNA Horse Breaking & Educating for traveling up to Cooktown to host the Beginner Horsemanship Clinic, it was thoroughly enjoyed and everyone learnt some new skills 🐴🙌🏻

Theres definitely some very tired ponies today 😅

DATE CHANGED 18th & 19th May

We are excited to announce Alyce Sadleir from DNA Horse Breaking & Educating will be coming to Cooktown to hold a Beginner Horsemanship Clinic 🐴🐴

The clinic will include
- basic handling
- correct fitting of halter and bridles
- gaining respect on ground and in the saddle
- drills that will help control your horses in a horse sports situation

Everything you learn with your horse will then be put into play with a mini horse sports on the last day!

There are limited positions in the clinic and you must be a member of the Cooktown Horse Sports

Please note you will need your own horse for the clinic
