It's deshedding season!

Book your fluffy dogs for a bath and a deshed to help remove their dead undercoat. Right around this time of year a lot of double coated dogs are shedding the thicker coat they grew during the cooler weather. Double coated dogs include cattle dogs, german sheperds, border collies, labradors, golden retrievers, huskies, mastiffs and all the lovely mixed pooches with similar coats. The dead coat can become compacted and matted and stop the dogs' natural insulation working properly in the upcoming hot weather. Deshedding helps them with that as well as reducing the amount that ends up in your house, yard and car. Plus it's my favourite thing to do!

My trailer air conditioner is fixed! 😁

So I can start back with washes, blow-dries, brush outs, nail trims and hygiene tidies.

Unfortunately still no full hair cuts at this point though.

I'm back! BUT I'm not doing hair cuts.

My tendonitis is much improved but I'm still unable to hold my clippers. This means I'm limited to baths, blow dries, brush outs and desheds. I can possibly manage some hygiene grooms.

I have to take it steady so appointments will be few but hopefully I can make it work for everyone 😊

Hi everyone,

Bad news. I'm not going to be woring for a while.

I have RSI in my hand from work. It's taking a long time to heal because it's my right hand and I haven't been able to rest it enough. So I'm going to have to stop working to let it get better despite really not wanting to. I have been told it could take a couple of months or more so I'm cancelling all my appointments for now and not taking any new ones till it's better.

So sorry for the inconvenience.
