What a fantastic morning at Brekkie in the Park ! Thanks to all that came and said hi!
Well done to City of Palmerston for organising such a great community event! 🤠🐴🤩✨
✨It’s always a fun morning with Jessie!✨
Jessie has taken part in our programs durning the dry for the past three years. She brings so much energy and always put a smile on our faces. 🤩 It’s been fantastic to see her confidence and skills grow! 🤠
As well as being super fun, activities like these have a wide range of benefits, including:
• integrated movement
• visual perception and control
• learning about gravity and properties of objects
• the ability to react and concentrate
• hand-eye coordination
• fine motor skills
• gross motor skills
• confidence building

It's been a huge year for us here at the RDA Top End! We could not have done it without our amazing clients, families, carers, volunteers and partners and supporters. Huge thanks to you all!

The festive celebrations are in full swing here at Riding for the Disabled in the Top End! 🎄
It’s been a huge week kicking off with our Volunteer end-of-year thank you dinner at Cazalys - Palmerston Club! Our volunteers are the heart of what we do and we thank them for their continued support!!
Our President Tania Lesneuck and volunteer Leigh Moore represented the centre at the International Volunteer Day reception on Tuesday evening, organised by Volunteering NT hosted by, The Administrator of the Northern Territory, his Honour Professor The Honourable Hugh Heggie PSM, and Ms Ruth Jones to recognise and celebrate local volunteers in the community.
Thursday night, Tania Lesneuck and Treasa O'Kane attended a fantastic night at the Palmerston Regional Business Association Inc Christmas party! What an amazingly energising, generous and fun business community we have here in Palmerston! Thanks to the organisers for a wonderful evening.
Highlights of the evening were the community's amazing generosity to the event charity Palmerston Boxing Club and @Eva Lawler MLA: Member for Drysdale overview of the year that was presented in a humorous rendition of 12 days of Xmas!
Next up our Client and Volunteers end of year presentations tomorrow here at the centre. We will also be celebrating International Day of People with Disability - Australia!
