Mallory and Lumi are 5 weeks old today and have officially joined the main flock. Hopefully soon we can confirm whether they are boys or girls, but right now we are leaning toward boys.

These Cuties just got upgraded to a grow out. I'll split them over two when I get some more trays made.
They're 3 and a half weeks old! All bar the Tuxedos are available.

We were taking a small break from ducklings but the order these were collected for fell through so rather than wasting them, why not incubate, right?

I've got no excuse for the quail other than they're cute and I cant help myself 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Not the best pictures but just quick snaps as I cleaned the brooder this morning.

The two ducklings in the middle are from purchased eggs, the other two from our own eggs.
It's still up in the air whether the tiny little duckling will make it. Generally when they hatch that small, even with them eating and drinking they dont survive :(

No pictures today but we have four new ducklings! Two of them are from purchased eggs, so that's exciting. Broody duck April's eggs are on lockdown too 🥳🥳
All our available ducklings have gone to their new homes and we've finally named the girl we are keeping. Her name is Dove and she is beautiful.

The Quail are all growing like crazy and I think Im going to set some more shortly, especially the king quail since I've got grow out space now.

The garden is about to get planted with snow peas and zucchini as well. It's all a go over here, even with my current health issues.

Just some ducks enjoying the waste water from the pond clean. We love some supervised yard time for the young ones. Mallory and Lumi love puddles!
3 of our 8 day old ducklings and our remaining 3 5 week olds went to their new home today too.

These messy little weenies are 6 days old today! And the last incubator batch for a little while goes on Lockdown today.

The first and second batches of Call Ducks have mostly found new homes. Just 3 girls from the second batch left to find homes. (The 3 at the front at the very beginning) they will be 6 weeks old on Wednesday.

Mallory and Lumi are growing like weeds. I cant wait until they get more of their adult feathers.
