Easter morning at the beach with my 3 kids still in their bunny PJs, my husband, my dog and coffee… these are the days🥹🥰

When your dog is easy to have around their quality of life goes up because they get to do more, see more and be more connected with the family.
Something as simple as coming out with us while the kids do chalk drawing on the street is time with the family plus the stimulation of being outdoors with different sights and smells.
Because she doesn’t bark/lunge when people go past, she doesn’t jump on the kids, she doesn’t steal their toys and can listen when needed she gets to be part of this little family activity… and that is why I train my dogs.

Yes, the tricks, the comps, the big adventures, the fancy stuff is awesome, don’t get me wrong… but at the end of the day, I just want to be able to hang out with my dog because it makes me happy, it makes my kids happy and it makes my dog happy… so majority of my training is geared towards making that as easy and as fun as possible!

Separation anxiety isn’t a life sentence. It can be very distressing for both dog and owner but there’s lots of strategies we can use to help!

Want to speed up the training process?
Stop trying to teach a bunch of things at once!

👉Pick 1-2 skill you want to teach or behaviours you want to change.

👉Focus on it.

👉Have a plan of exactly HOW you’re going to teach BEFORE you start your training session.

👉Do at LEAST 3 short training sessions a day. (5mins or less- unless you’re specifically working on a duration exercise)

👉Master it, THEN move onto the next thing.

✅It will provide more clarity for you and your dog.
✅It will keep you and your dog much more motivated and making training more enjoyable.
✅It will get you closer to your big goals faster.
